Front page is Brady, stressing two columns.

One is from the CHB -- https://www.bostonglobe.com/sports/2015/07/28/shaughnessy/T32IKjU6IVYjEWml2YfrMI/story.html -- which emphatically says the Patriots cheated, and anybody who disagrees is delusional, because:
  • Cover-up.
  • Kraft accepted the punishment.
The other, by Volin -- https://www.bostonglobe.com/sports/...e-nfl-court/Xti1APTZjHeshDxI7uhtDJ/story.html -- is less awful. It would seem only mildly anti-Brady biased if we didn't know Volin's track record on the issue.

By way of contrast, Breer's Twitter stream -- IF viewed in a vacuum -- is almost reasonable this morning.

The Globe had been **** since Reiss left. They have their reasons to pretend that the Sox are still the top game in town, and those reasons are pretty transparent.

It's kinda funny that the Globe and the NYT are both owned by the same company, and yet the NYT is the only one that seems interested in doing some actual journalism re: this whole fiasco

Heard Volin this morning, ugh...cannot stand the smarmy guy. Wish he would go back to Florida.

Nobody wants to even entertain the idea that the balls were not deflated. it is simple as that, the balls were not tampered with because they were in expected PSI ranges....This whole thing is frustratingly ridiculous.

Are they still?

Even if they are, I'm pretty sure they're operated separately, both because they have different writing and editorial staffs in the obvious way, and also because the NYT doesn't want to own the Globe.

Based on the title of the thread alone, I was wondering if you needed a leg up to get back on the turnip truck :D.

Just having some fun, I know you are aware of their preference.

They are no longer owned by the same company.

John Henry, owner of the Red Sox bought the Globe from the NYT a few years ago for $70 Million (yes, with an M). So, the Globe, including all its equipment, vehicles and real estate, is worth less than 4 years of Rick Porcello.

I liked Chad Finn's article on Goodell.

You can find it between the crossword and suko section and the "Boch Toyota Tent Sale" circular.

Add the idiot eric wilbur to the pile. Accidentally saw his piece yesterday. What a hack job. He is convinced that goodell told kraft about Brady's phone change back in May in San Francisco at the owner's meetings. Yet goodell wasn't notified of it until days before Brady's appeal hearing.

IDIOT.

You gotta remember the Globe needs throw a lot of crap at Brady and the Pats to draw attention away from the flaming dog turd called the Boston Red Sox.

Don't read the Globe, let it die.

My god what a disaster that team is.

I watched the Pedro ceremony and then flipped the channel.

I was thinking that if this kind of situation was happening to Pedro...he'd fight too.

Hes terrible. Glorified blogger.

How bout them last place Sox, CHB? Now that is a garbage franchise. Last in the division 3 out of 4 years yet spending 200 million. The JEST of the MLB.

Impossible, the Sox have actually won a World Championship. Several, actually.

The Red Sox got smoked again last night. They've gotta run something to distract the older demo that actually reads papers still.

Well when you consider the managing editor of the sports section is Joe Sullivan, an avowed and dyed in the wool Patriots/Belilchick Hater with a capital H, you'd know why....

Yep. Just like they'll still be talking about it tomorrow and will make no mention of the Red Sux likely fire sale today.
