We still don't know what "destroy" means right? It's the NFL's* term, maybe he just traded it in for his free upgrade?! :)

I don't care if he let Gronk spike the phone, buried it in his yard and built a fountain of himself pissing on Goodell over it. The NFL has no right to ask for text messages. Brady's legal team must agree if they allowed him to refuse to cooperate with that part of the 'investigation.'

yea except for the fact, they never asked for his pictures. They asked for him to show him texts between him and the ball boys. Thats it. thats the only thing they asked for.

I again will say, i was on bradys side until today.

What are you talking about? You're responding in a thread in which it's been shown that he gave them all relevant texts from his phone.

If Brady gave him his phone they would have asked for his computer. If Brady gave them his computer they would have asked for his assistant's phone. On and on, until they finally were told no, then whatever was refused proves no cooperation. They would have just used more out of context stuff to spin with the same no cooperation accusation.

And if Brady gave him his computer, Wells would have insisted on searching his house and would have gone through Gisele's lingerie drawer and smelled her dirty laundry.

You were never on his side. If you were, present the relevant posts which show that you were.

Oh, and enjoy watching your Rams moving to LA.

This guy showed up to play Cardinals apologist after they were actually caught, with indisutable proof, hacking another team's database. He disappeared until today. I think his motivations are obvious and not worth response.

OT: anyone else hate our new FB, Twitter , Instagram society? ****ing blows

I do. I'm in several arguments over the day of BS. It's on or near. The NFL didn't clarify. Cause it doesn't know jack. Yet, every news outlet is reporting it as fact. Makes it sound so much more nefarious. Like on the way to the interview room he was smashing the phone in the hall. Really? I imagine it is something a hell of a lot more innocuous.

I'm in the Brady camp on all of this, but destroying the phone was dumb, dumb, dumb. Anyone with even the most cursory understanding of legal proceedings or PR would have recognized you don't destroy the phone.

BS. It was smart, and ethical. If Nixon had a public bonfire on the White House lawn burning the tapes, he would never had to resign... Brady offered to provide his side of communications to Jastremski and McNally that they already had from the company provided phones that contained their end of the conversations. Attorney Yee said they offered to provide that, and did so, as would be done under rules of evidence in legal Discovery.

I wouldn't trust these unspeakable clowns in the NFL Offices. They have now demonstrated plenty of example,s including this "revelation", as examples of pure character assignation

Does G ever even have dirty laundry? :D

I agree, I would never hand over my personal phone either. i was just lightening it up a bit in here.

Regarding why Brady should not hand over the phone, it's worth watching this video.

Someone posted it in another thread, but it's worth reposting. If you have the time, you should watch it. You never know if you could end up in trouble.

You in AZ? Me too. It seems to me Brady has done a ton. More than needed in my opinion. Stradley seems to think so, and I'll believe anything she says. The instant a notice of investigation was given, I doubt Yee, an attorney would allow the destruction of evidence. Or any legal authority. Brady has the best lawyers available to him.

This is the part I dont get the most! They say they want the texts between him and them. Well you can certainly see both responses of texts on my phone! So while the whole "destroying " it thing looks bad I would think they have already seen the texts their claiming Brady was trying to hide.

What they really wanted was one of two things. Either:

A) they get Brady's phone. Great, now they can go on a McNally-esque fishing expedition and see if he's ever said anything to anyone that could even possibly be interpreted as being aware of rulebreaking.

or

B) they don't get Brady's phone. Then, even if Brady cooperates fully right up to the point of giving over his phone, they can say that he didn't cooperate. Even if he gives them selected texts, they'll still just say "he obviously didn't give us all of them, since none of them implicated him." Therefore since they've already determined he's guilty, he must not be cooperating.

Brady didn't have any text messages with either of them. That's proved by the fact that neither Jestremski or McNally had any texts to or from Brady on their phones.

Try harder troll.
