"I don't know"..... ha ha ha ha ha
Very impressive Deus, you admitting that you can't justify your spinning about the routine practice of destroying phones when I tell you Brady didn't destroy all his phones.....JUST THE ONE TED WELLS WANTED TO SEE.

The phone does not matter. The Science does.

What difference does it make? Wells had no right or authority to see the phone.
Brady could have walked into the Wells meeting and the appeal with it stapled to his forehead and no one would have had any right to see it.
He didn't destroy evidence because nothing on it was admissable.

Are you expecting a De Novo trial about the actual incident to be the next step? Where are you getting this notion that the judge is going to demand discovery of a cell phone that was not used as evidence in the underlying 'case'?

it could happen if indeed they provided documentation of electronic messages of that cell phone

I feel sick to my stomach

I wasn't spinning anything, slick. You just made a very stupid post. That's on you, not on anyone else. Now, you're just making more stupid posts, and trying to change the discussion to an issue about me, rather than your post. It's a textbook maneuver of someone who knows he said/wrote something stupid, but just can't bring himself to admit it.

Now, run along and play. It's time for you to let the adults talk.

Again, based upon what theory?

Upon news of the "destroyed" cell phone, Felger is doubling down on his claim that Brady did it to protect the ultimate culprit, BB. If I had a gun I would've shot Felger right through my TV. Hey, maybe BB will clear the air and claim full responsibility during his first training camp presser.

Felger and Mazz complained the parade was lame and none of the players wanted to be there. Ian should censor their names on the board.

Im proud to say that I've been Felger free for 6 months, and I'm talking not even listening to 30 seconds of their BS

Been on the rode all day listening to a book on tape, so I'm late to party, and really don't feel like reading 20 pages of material and angst. Just some immediate reactions. BTW- pardon me if any or all these are redundant or just wrong. ;)

1. First, I'm just thrilled that Goodell stayed stupid and reaffirmed Brady's suspension. I feared he would do the smart thing and move it back a year while the new procedures were implemented. Now a perfectly winnable case will go to Federal Court, where the League has virtually no chance of winning.

2. Unfortunately the ONLY benefit of this upcoming case is that we will get our QB back for the full 16 games. The defamation and slander (as we have seen today) will continue. So much for slowing down the rhetoric, eh Bob.

3. So clearly the NFL will try to hang Brady one "destroying his cell phone" and try to convince the public that this is the act of a guilty man. When you cannot win on the facts, try perception.

4. Interestingly they are claiming Brady destroyed his phone in mid March. Brady knew early on what was going to happen to him in an investigation. WHY then wait almost 2 months to "destroy" the phone.

5. The phone is the red herring as its been widely represented.

6. The continued attacks on Brady's character will be painful at first, but the reality still exists of the NFL's malicious behavior, the bad science it used to taint the Pats and Brady, and the over the top and unprecedented penalties for crime that actually NEVER happened. Which of course is the ultimate frustration.

7. That being said, true redemption for Brady ISN'T going to happen if he merely wins a procedural trial in Federal court and gets his suspension lifted. To really get cleared he has to PROVE his innocence, and THAT will take a defamation court trial. It would be worth it because even if he loses the case, the information that will detail the conspiracy by the Jet cabal in the league offices and their puppet Irsay, will be brought to light. Real Science will finally have their day in court and Welles and science buddies will actually have to show up in court an prove their ridiculous assumptions. The NFL leaks are likely to be documented and provide ample prove of premeditated malicious behavior.

All that would make it well worth Brady's effort and expense, regardless of the results.

He destroyed the phone? Why would he do that? Has to be more to the story...

You people remind me of the OJ is innocent crowd, he destroyed it because he was part of deflating footballs after they left the officials room. JFC get real. I think it mattered 0% as far as competitive advantage is concerned but he knew. Big deal.To equate it with steroid use as RG did is a complete joke.

I agree with you Andy. The NFL was never going to see the contents of the phone. So why did Brady destroy it and then claim that was his usual practice with his phones which we know is a lie because he admitted to still having some of his old phones.

Why would a guy whose own reputation and legacy means so much to him act out this way??

Tom isn't dumb. He has to know how this looks. Why would he destroy THAT phone???

I defended Tom Brady as much as anyone throughout this whole mess.

My palpable dislike of Roger Goodell and the corrupt league office he runs has not changed one bit.

My view of Tom Brady has and it kills me to feel this way after believing in him and defending him at every turn lo these many months.

You will get to witness the true greatness of Bill Belichick under these circumstances. The whole organization will rally.

Explain this and I'll concede he cheated.

Just mad and numb even though I expected it. The destroying phone bit makes it worse to endure the constant news cycle.

he is being lenient he claims.

This part of the statement made me laugh out loud. Unbelievable!

What about the stick-um in San Diego? That was just a fine and provided a competitive advantage, using Goodell's logic, akin to PED's.
