That would mean they'd have to concede defeat, once again, and state that they wasted $5 million dollars on a junk report by a con-artist.

With Brady seeking full exoneration, upholding their decision was the only move, besides dropping it a game or two, which was meaningless in the grand scheme of things.

These people are scumbags plain and simple. A noble commissioner would have squashed this minutes after hearing about it. This man, this office and this entire situation isn't noble.

It's a glorified media-driven witch hunt and it wasn't and isn't ending until a Federal Judge weighs in.

I love the nefarious phrasing: he "destroyed" his phone. Next time I throw something away I'm going to say I destroyed it.

Well, it's easy for me to boycott the NFL this season as I'll be overseas, but I hope this thing goes to court and we finally blow the ****in lid off this corrupt-ass league. Sick of it.

I wouldn't mind the case going to a New York court. What better place to rip the NFL a new one than in their home state as well as the home state of the Jets and Giants.

Whether or not Brady is doing innocent (which I personally believe he is), I'm just glad that this decision is finally out of the NFL's kangaroo court

I don't think Kessler was on the scene at that point. In any case, I doubt he did it without talking to some lawyer somewhere.

it doesn't matter what brady did with the damn phone. this is all about the over the top moronic bias punishment. that's what the court will rip into. what brady may have done is the equivalent of holding or pass interference for christ sake. man what a sick society we live in. and what a pathetic piece of sh-t league

I don't know the specifics, but I assume there was a reason why the NBA and NFL were both in a mad rush to have their cases filed in NY. Whatever that reason is, I doubt it's good news for Brady. Hopefully the case ends up being heard somewhere else. Hell, the MO supreme court already ruled that Goodell can't serve as arbitrator in appeals anymore, didn't it? It's not like there's a shortage of courts that would likely be amenable to Brady's case.

I feel like I'm more excited for this than I should be. But hot damn am I excited!

Why would goodell after 6 months of all this stuff back down and reduce the suspension even if he was scared of court? It going to court 1 of 2 things happens, suspension gets overturned and he gets to turn around and say "hey I tried" or the suspension is upheld.

Really what is the incentive to wipe out the suspension? All he would get is media backlash and we already know owners were pressuring him to keep it 4 games. Keeping it at 4 games and letting the court make the actual appeal ruling was always his best play from an image standpoint and we all know how worried goodell is about his image

Last November I was just so frustrated one evening that I hurled my phone into my driveway as hard as I could. The screen was shattered into literally a million bits. Now THAT'S destroying a phone. It amuses me to imagine Tom doing the same.
