How I Feel - MERGED (by accident - Ian) Brady Suspension Upheld

Man looks like not a smart decision on Bradys part. Could have shown the court the phone so NFL had nothing.

I just can't believe Brady would be stupid enough to destroy it, knowing how bad it would look...there has to be more to it! I'm truly beginning to think I wish TMZ would investigate this, at least their reports have more truth to them than the NFL. and I think they may be one of few media outlets not afraid of the nfl.

In the report it states that Brady directed the destruction of the prior phone "so someone could never, you know, reset it or do something where the information could be available to anyone."

Sounds like a real nefarious prick.

What's so hard to understand? They are saying that he did not destroy the previous phone he had before the one after it that he did destroy - - thus putting to bed his contention that he always destroys his old phones.
Gee I'm sorry! I just misread the post about it. So much crap being reported right now I misread.

It's really going to suck when in december the patriots footballs measure 12.0 psi in 30 degree weather and brady gets suspended for 12 months.

And when i say brady, i mean every ****ing qb in the league that plays a cold weather game.

Because what else should he do with it? Sell it and take the chance that the data on it can be recovered and end up on TMZ and all over the internet? Do you think a guy that makes millions cares about a phone worth a few hundred bucks? I destroy my own used phones and hard drives. I recover lost data as part of my business, its trivial. I'm no body and most likely no one would ever take the time to recover my lost data. But TOM BRADY? I'd attempt to recover his used cell phone data if I had access too it? The data/photos would be worth a fortune if someone had access to him

From a security stand point he and any high profile celebrity is smart to do this (assuming they are destroying them beyond all repair).

And as for why he told them? Maybe because he's honest and doesn't feel the need to lie?

you misunderstood my point. Why tell them? just hand them over your current phone that doesn't have any framing texts (if there were such on the original phone). just give them your current phone and have them assume it's the only phone you've used in the past 100 years.... they won't know the difference anyways. why mention destroying in the first place? you know they'll use such garbage against you! why tell them you destroyed?

Gawd this whole thing is depressing. This never should have been a big deal to begin with and it spiraled. If Tom indeed destroyed his phone like it's been said that was very unwise.

You dont want those Giesele pics falling in to the wrong hands

I think Brady's team was trying to be helpful by providing the cell phone data from his previous phone. Therefore they had to explain why they couldn't also give them the data from the the phone he "destroyed"

if brady did destroy his phone, he gets to join the idiot line for this whole event......right up there with wells and goodell and kraft......they all deserve each other

see how it plays out.....the chances of garoppolo playing just went way way up

it just seems so incredibly stupid to destroy it..........all he had to say is 'you can't touch my phone'

by the same token, I think it's disingenuous by the NFL to use that as a reason......whether he destroys the phone or refuses to hand it over should not matter

still.....destroying the phone is incredibly stupid if that's what happened

Off the ledge people. People are way overthinking this. Loss of the phone would only affect a civil trial for defamation etc... The issue at hand is unfair labor practices and the NFL has no right to the phone to begin with and the only evidence the NFL can produce is that in the Wells report.

Well, Goodell certainly pulled out all the stops to slam Brady. See pp. 14-16. He directly analogized this to using PEDs and a masking agent to try to hide the PEDs. He also talked about why he believed it is different from the Favre thing, the Vikings/Panthers ball warming thing, and Rodgers's talk about trying to slip balls past the officials.

I work for Verizon the information can be easily retrieved if I made millions of dollars a year I would destroy my old phones not sell them on fricking EBay or give them to a friend or family member who is irresponsible or have money trouble destroying the device makes the most sense.
Imagine if he had BB on there like Fuk Goodell Kraft is a ****y stuff like that.
Or God knows what complaints from other players about the Commissioner. Naked pictures of Giselle personal sex video we know Brady loves porn. Evidence of a affair with Mannings wife who knows.
However I want a Brady press conference.

Let's all remember that they had JJ and JM's phones, so all electronic communication between them and Brady would've been on them. So, all that this really means is that they couldn't know if Brady had spoken with anyone else about any sort of scheme. But again, if he were part of the scheme, who else would he be talking to about it if not JJ/JM? It's nonsensical.

Also, destruction of evidence does not equal guilt. Even if that was Brady's intention, it does not support a guilty finding... For instance, if all Hernandez had done was wipe his home cameras, and no other evidence was available to tie him to a murder, I don't think the court would have found him guilty.

How is it different than Rodgers.
How?

Yep. You think goodell would have waited 35 days and talked settlement if the nfl lawyers thought Brady had no chance in court?

Roger Goodell still doesn't know how text messaging works.

What did he say in regards to the Vikings/Panthers thing?

So how does Shefter and others report that "Tom Brady radiated honesty throughout the entire interview" to the stuff we're reading now?

I drove a big nail through my old laptop hard drive. Sorry folks. But thats just good practice. Still does not hide the face theyve no evidence on dorito dink or the deflators phone.

Optics schmoptics.
When does Rodger serve his suspension for his Mueller report non compliance.
Brady goes to court and wins.
