I don't want to believe it.
However when will Aaron Rogers serve his suspension?
When will Mike Tomlin?
Jim Irsay?
Woody Johnson who I don't know stole a hall of famer while he was under contract.
WTF
Colts for tampering with a in game ball.
Ravens for being the Ravens?
Steelers for covering up major crimes.
Denver for cheating the salary cap
I'm waiting because obviously we need to do what's in the best interest of the league.
Fuk Kraft please boo the crap out of this man on opening night.
When Jimmy G throws 5 tds with only 140 yards because the red zone will be the gray zone.

Context isnt needed, sorry but he destroyed his cell, he is going to lose. He is serving all 4 games.

Wish it was different but dam this is even worse than I imagined, destroyed the phone, what a dumb a...

Wow it is a disaster. Looks like BK knew something we didnt.

On Page 12 of the decision, NFL says that Brady didn't destroy the previous cell phone he had.

This is bad. Brady and his counsel provided notice from his phone carrier that text messages could not be recovered from the destroyed phone.
These are not the actions of an innocent man. I am sorry but we have been backing the wrong tree. Kraft knew it. BB knows it.
Where did you hear that he provided notice to his carrier that no messages could be recovered?

Page 12 of the decision does make a good, if unfortunate, point.

Brady says that when he gets a new phone it is his practice to destroy the old one. However, when he got the phone he used from November to March 6 he in fact did not destroy the previous phone, since in his appeal he presented the forensic report of someone he hired to examine his pre-November phone.

:(

Obvious. Referring to Brady's explanation that its routine for him to destroy old phone when he gets an upgrade. Apparently his previous phone- before phone destroyed circa March- was not destroyed.

One major communication that I don't see explained. How does the NFL know he had 10,000 plus text messages? How?

Something doesn’t make sense…. If Brady had something on his phone he didn’t want to show… - why destroy? They can’t subpoena the records anyways. You can just refuse to give it out. And even if you destroyed it for whatever reason (be it totally related or totally unrelated to the whole saga). Why tell them you destroyed your phone? Why not present them with your new phone? You think they’d know the difference? You think they’d ask you a receipt to see how old the phone is?

Something doesn't add up.

So we are now supposed to believe that Tom Brady directed the deflation of footballs that, in fact, were not even deflated? This is a blow to my perception of TB's ability to always make the right decision under pressure, but not to my perception of his innocence.
We are not. Again, Evidence makes us believe that nothing was done wrongfully, but the destruction of the phone in the midst of an investigation that involved said phone is suspicious. Also, considering the amount of pressure that the NFLPA was doing, i find it hard to believe that they weren't aware of this fact. Maybe they directed Brady to do it.

I'll wait for Brady's camp to announce their statement. I still believe that we can win on court. But, in the public court of opinion, We face another tutning point. People were aligning with Brady, but this will cause (is causing) people to be against us again (Not that it matters much, but it is true)

The paragraph before they talk about destroying his phone records they say Brady's counsel submitted phone records from his carrier. o_O

I didn't read the report but if this is true then LOL.... do they think brady had pictures saying "F*ck goodell" while holding a needle in a ball and that's why they're upset it was destroyed?

I'll be the first to say it. While I still believe he is innocent, in the unlikely case that he is guilty, I give absolutely zero f&cks. To think that other teams and players to bend the rules to get a competitive advantage is just being naive. We've had HOFers who have come out and said they've broken the rules.

Means nothing to me either way. I will continue to look forward to Brady destroying teams next season.

When I worked at Citibank's IT department I once was told that every time they upgraded computers from a department, the old machines were sent to a warehouse and the hard disk completely destroyed, with a drill right in the middle. That was standard protocol, even for low level employees that most likely didn't store anything confidential.

Heck, I have 2 old cellphones in a drawer in my bedroom, I don't even know if they still work, why would I sell them, for how much? No one buys deprecated cell phones. I'm planing to move next year so I'm already in the process of throwing out old stuff, I'm gonna throw both of those old cellphones in a trash bin.

Now, think about a celebrity that can have all the new mobiles in the blink of an eye, for free, every what, 6 months or so? What would I do with the old device? Give to a nephew? Give to the kids to play with it? If this goes to wrong hands it can be a pain in the ass, I would destroy it too.

I'm not saying that that was what happened, just that it can be extremely normal in the celebrity world to have some sort of protocol regarding confidentiality, things that we don't even think about.

I work at a small IT shop, about 30 users, and its standard procedure for all of our clients to destroy the drives. We're talking about car dealerships and small businesses here not Tom freakin Brady. If I were him I'd destroy my phone too. TMZ would be all over that crap.

hey guys, just got video of the destruction of the phone, this is actually right around the time Bill called tom to let him know they were not going to be resigning revis:
