What could Kraft Have sued for?

I for one, do care about legacy because for a long time I have and always will root for the Patriots long after BB and Brady retire. Their legacy is a part of the Patriot's organization's identity the same way that Tom Landry is for the Cowboys, Montana is for the 49ers, and Terry Bradshaw is for the Steelers. No matter how hard I root against them I will always have respect for what they did and how they represented their respective teams. That is because of legacy. I could go on how legacy transcends football and plays a major role in how we live our lives, of which I consider mine to be very meaningful to my family and friends. But of course, that's just my opinion...

the past is the past......which randy moss do you remember? I remember the good one which deion branch do you remember? I remember the one who played, not the one who shot his way out of town

same with lawyer milloy, drew bledsoe, ted johnson, logan mankins........even tony eason.....the only ones who I don't see positively are aaron hernandez and terry glenn

if nobody cares that he walked out on a chick after knocking her up, then his legacy is perfectly safe to those who appreciate him...........to the haters, it just won't matter how big brady wins in court or anywhere else......jealousy and envy breed hatred and there's nothing you can do about that

The difference is that I don't let personal drama impact that legacy. I don't mean murder and other malicious and/or heinous acts, but personal ones dealing with relationships and issues about money. I let their accomplishments state along with how they carried about their business related to football dictate that legacy.

yes........but when it comes to deflategate, people are worrying about legacy when most of the world doesn't care about it.......the haters just want to see the patriots and brady punished because of envy and jealousy.

lost in this point goes back to 'what are we really talking about here?' we are talking about fractions of psi.....at the end of the day, it just goes back to the haters wanting to see the pats torn down....the reasons behind it are secondary. you know it, I know it....Brady knows it......which is why a guy who just want to play would put that behind him and accept something that excluded a loss of playing time......

90% of the minds were already made up the monday after the AFCC....the rest of it has been a ridiculous dog and pony show whose outcome will never affect the way I see Brady

Kraft's standing in the league is a benefit not worth risking over an appeal he has no chance to win.

Ah yes -- the familar Kraft suckup's song of "but but but he couldn't risk damaging his almighty standing in the league".

Screw that. Since as emphatically empirically demonstrated his "standing in the league" provided him precisely zero support in this whole witchhunt, that "standing in the league" is massively overvalued, assuming it actually even exists in the first place.

Except I specifically outlined a potential benefit for Kraft remaining a pillar of the league - running Goodell out of town.

As opposed to the only rationale I've ever heard for appealing the league's decision "It will make Pats fans feel good despite accomplishing nothing."

I don't think or want Brady to accept anything other than complete exoneration of what the Well's Report implies and no lost playing time. If a fine is issued due to to other minor infractions then so be it.

I only care about the suspension ....... The soap opera of individual perception off the field is a waste of time

we love larry bird even though the guy is a ****.......

I love Larry Bird too, but I never knew him personally to decide whether he was a **** or not or that I even care if he was.

Hard to do when you defy the commish and the other owners,. 31 to 1, not good odds. I bet he's lining up a few more owners as Irsay and biscuit make fools of themselves. It's politics. sometimes the long game wins.
