Just the fact that none of Hightower, Jones, Mayo, or Siliga are on the list (all huge concerns for me) tells me that we should count this as good news. Real good news.
@scott99--As far as Easley goes, yes it was a gamble, but if the gamble ever pays off he could potentially be a top 10 draft talent. Not taking a WR last year is frustrating, but we can't really try to project how they'd have worked out in this system.
We have 1) Siliga, 2) Brown, 3) Sheard, 4) Chandler Jones, 5) Ninkovich, 6) Branch, and 7) Chris Jones as our top seven DL players. When you look at the amount of depth and talent, it's not difficult to envision a scenario where Easley starts the year on PUP and comes back in November, considering the bye week and the window to activate him. Obviously, that's assuming that there's concerns about the knee and that it's not just a minor setback. We'll obviously know much more in the next month.
