Curran on the Wells report cover up

"But how do you explain the bathroom visit?'

It still blows my mind that there are people out there who think it is impossible to believe that McNally actually had to urinate before going to the field for two hours. They act like there is no other reason a person would go into a bathroom for 90 seconds other than to let the top of 12 footballs. That is how crazy this whole thing has become.

If you look at this objectively and not with the idea that the Pats did something, McNally going to take a leak is a far more plausible explanation why he went to the bathroom for 90 seconds.

To this cover up thing. One thing I still don't get why the media has totally let slide is that Dean Blandino in his press conference before the Super Bowl was adamant that none of the officials knew of any allegations of wrong doing until the Colts complained at halftime in the AFCCG. But the Wells report shows that Blandino and Anderson were informed of allegations by the Colts of deflated balls the day before the game. A clear lie by Blandino that has never been followed up on.

I'm shocked ESPN never brought a urinenologist on the show to explain how a man McNally's age would need a lot longer than 90 seconds to piss and that the only logical explanation is he must have been deflating 12 footballs.

Because their minds work like this:

"Okay, I'll give you that about Blandino. But how do you explain the trip the the bathroom?"

And, just like that, the Blandino lie is forgotten.

But there are plenty of people in the media who believe the Wells Report is BS and are digging for stuff like this like Curran and Florio. Even they aren't making any kind of deal about it.

well, I think you could be right. All I can recall is "interdasting" and "Sunshine Superdouche" as the voices of "reason" when all hell broke loose.

Ok now you've piqued my interest, since I was somewhat vocal that it would turn out poorly, AND there's part of my username in "Sunshine Superdouche." ;)

I agree 100%.

How is it logical to believe that Brady wanted McNally to go into a bathroom and stick a pin into 12 footballs (in a hurry)? He had NO GAUGE and NO PUMP.

How would he have achieved consistency in air pressure, ball to ball?
What happens if he accidentally took out too much air? (no pump!)

It defies logic.

Now, I can believe that McNally, having had enough of getting yelled at by Jastzremski (relaying Brady) might do something like that on his own, but for me to believe that Brady is SO METICULOUS and anal about football preparation and PSI...and still that he would be okay with inexact releases of PSI from balls, in a bathroom, in a hurry...

It just defies logic. THat ain't cheating, it's just stupid!

Yeah that the thing, you hear the Felger and Mazz's of the world say that Brady told Jastremski and McNally that they needed to get his balls to a certain perfect condition no matter how and then they argue that McNally would rush into the bathroom and haphazardly quickly deflate each ball without being able to judge how much air is actually in the ball. It really doesn't make sense.

Occams Razor, Rob. I am middle aged...no freakin' way I make it out on a field for 2 hours without taking a good squirt. It's so obvious it CAN'T BE TRUE! The Wells Axiom at its finest.

"The middleaged McNally HAD to be deflating balls! No middle aged guy needs to go to the bathroom before spending the half outside on the sideline!! Brady HAD to know! It's OBVIOUS!!! "

http://nesn.com/2015/05/patriots-jim-mcnally-didnt-stealthy-take-footballs-from-locker-room/

this link destroys every single lie the NFL has stated as fact about McNally's actions that day. Nobody wants to hear it. They read it, waited for the 24 hour news cycle to revolve and went right back to printing the same exact lies that were REFUTED in print a day earlier...like nothing ever happened.

Wait, are you insuating that Brady knew McNally had to pee?

Not enough time at halftime for officials to measure and write down the PSI levels for 24 balls, only measure 16. Yet McNally could measure and deflate 12 balls to the desired level in 90 seconds.
