Sal Pal is a weasel

If memory serves, this Paolantonio putz was a little jerk to Malcolm Butler in the post-Super Bowl interview too. These people are classless.

Didn't Reiss get that from SalPal and he goes and backs up the bus on him?

What a completely unethical, disrespectful loser.

Mike Reiss- If you are reading this.....get SalPal's cell # and inform that he is wormy "no-no word with umpires.".

Meanwhile, Reiss was a loyal trooper, backing Chris M for as long as he could and then not throwing him under the bus -- ever, that I can recall.

Does everyone remember when Kelly Nagi dropped a big bombshell about cheating with he kicking footballs, only to have Adam Schefter blow her lies out of the water only a few hours later?

Did Nagi ever retract her story? No, even though it was obvious, even to other ESPN reporters, that it was garbage.

ESPN people are not journalists. At least, they do not hold themselves to even the minimum level of journalistic ethics. Caught lying? Do NOT retract anything. Stay silent. Hope that nobody notices.

The only exception I can think of was the NBA guy Chris Broussard who had called out Mark Cuban, who blasted him back. Chris Broussard finally said something like "my bad, I should have called him directly before reporting that". That's the only apology for inaccurate reporting in ESPN's history, to my knowledge.

Reiss would do so -- but he doesn't make reporting errors.

He does call himself out and apologize for errors in prognostication or phrasing.

Is the season here already?

Isn't amazing how the media get their panties in a bunch over a false lead. You know, like we've been getting when false report after report about the Pats have been splattered across the airwaves. FU Sal

Someone got to him ;)

Now that's some funny 5h!t..:p

If he was a loyal trooper he would of ran him over with the bus. And then backed up and did it again.

You folks continue to focus on the side story (Bisciotti) and completely ignore the MAIN story.

Has ANYONE noticed not one word of rebuttal to the original Sal Pal claim has been uttered by the usually loud and proud Irsay??????????

;)

Wow..what a douche.

I'm going to agree with @obgod3 that someone likely encouraged his "clarification" statement today.

I still can't believe any of this.

"I know who they are, and I’m gonna name them right now. Jim Irsay of the Colts, Steve Bisciotti of the Ravens and others in the AFC who believe that the Patriots have gotten away with murder for years and have not been publicly punished properly."

"He hasn’t put any pressure on Roger Goodell,” Paolantonio said of Bisciotti. “And he hasn’t talked about DeflateGate at all, publicly or privately from what I was told...'

Sal Pal is a Douche

Jim Irsay is a stones throw from a Rob Ford type breakdown. I can only imagine the type of paranoia drug induced bing benders Irsay went on after hearing about Sal Pal's initial comments.

How can anyone consider Irsay to be a powerful owner?

He's a drug-addled owner of a small market franchise whose team, despite their numerous runner up banners, has one Super Bowl trophy under his watch

That said though, Irsay probably has more influence over goodell than our spineless owner

Seems more like the NFL and ESPN pressured SalPal to retract his opinion/story.

Sal is a special media puke. Nothing ordinary about him.
