colts and ravens owner leading the charge

Yeah... what?

The little respect I have for the Ravens org (Ozzie/Blue collar nature) is going out the window, the only thing thats saving them is their competitiveness on the field. The Colts are a joke of an org and I haven't respected that franchise for a while lol. From Irsay to Grigson to the baby shiet soft team they field. They represent everything thats wrong with todays fantasy football dominated NFL culture.
The Ravens ar a team that almost pathologically drones on about the Patriots and Brady getting special treatment/calls, despite having the replacement refs give them a game, DBs punching Edelman in the head repeatedly in front of the refs, DLinemen poking Tom Brady's eyes in front of the refs, and Ray rice getting 2 games at their request, along with a division game that was called completely in their favor. I think they are the consummate spoiled *****es because they truly believe it all. while they are the coddled team receiving special treatment. Gotten any PI calls lately Joe? If any rules should be changed it should be the BE jump ball PI; if a ball is seriously under thrown there should be no PI when the receiver comes back through the DB.
I have no respect for that team, they are bigger *****es and cry babies then the Jets, and Biscotti must have pictures of Goodell with little boys because when they want something they get it.

Say what?
" to sit in the club drawing room where the other owners sipping fine single malt beverages talk about Bob Kraft" is likely why Kraft bent over and betrayed his QB and fanbase. I was joking saying that you criticize him for it, when you yourself would kill for the same thing. Sometimes I suck at communicating.

Question: Where did the NFL get a 10.1 PSI rating.
Answer: The Ravens

Follow-up: Why was 10.1 originally leaked to the media?
Because someone thought the Pats consistently underinflated their balls to the same PSI level and didn't know Jack-SH!T about the Natural Gas Law.

So if that 10.1 psi reading came from the Ravens game, that begs the question of who checked the pressure?

Was it the refs or yet again, was it some person violating NFL* rules that only game officials are allowed to measure the balls?

I suppose it could have been done after the game, but the game was in Foxboro and the Pats controlled the balls.

It's bad enough that Spineless Bob is the laughingstock of the NFL owners club. But to be used and abused by a loser druggie like Irsay? That's just plain embarrassing.

Kraft never tires of being used & abused by his "friends" in the 31 & league front office. I was critical of him in 2007 but foolishly figured he had learned a necessary lesson. We all misjudge and make mistakes. But our Bob has shown that he's a different breed. Alone in the Big Boys' Club, he comes back time and again to take pratfall after pratfall. Castigated and penalized for trivial (2007) and now nonexistent (2015) offenses, contrast him with owners caught heating footballs during a game, piping in crowd noise which directly impacts the game or owners publicly violating the tampering rules. Instead of incurring the typical loss of a pick and swapping picks with the offended team, the NY Jets simply paid a pocket change fine.

I would kill (put me in with Hernandez) to sit in the club drawing room where the other owners sipping fine single malt beverages talk about Bob Kraft behind his back with snickers and chuckles. In public, they'll say nice things about him personally should they need his assistance getting a new TV deal or CBA brokered.
They know how to use 'im and abuse 'im. Bob must get off on it. "Please sir, may I have another?"
Amen I actually would feel sorry for him except for the harm he is doing to the team by his actions. Just turn over the team to Jonathan. Then none of us will care about him counting his money and chasing after celebrities with his escort.

If it really did start with Harbaugh getting pissed off at what Brady said then that makes me feel worse. I loved it at the time but I wish Brady had just kept his mouth shut...

What we'll probably never know is if (assuming JoeSixPat's theory based Paolantonio's comments is accurate) Harbaugh was going to got to the Colts regardless if Brady said anything at all.

The 10.1 might have come from the Ravens game, and that seems legitimate.

The game started at 4:00 IIRC, correctly. Where is some weather day for Foxboro that day. (link also attached).

Temperature
Mean Temperature 12 °F
Max Temperature 24 °F
Min Temperature 1 °F

Every 25 degree drop in temperature drops the football about 1 PSI. At 12 degrees, that would be a drop of about 58 degrees from a 70 degree locker room. At .04 PSI per degree, that's 2.32 PSI, which would take a ball down to 10.18. That's right where they should be.

Ravens owner now denying he had anything to do with Sal's report. Maybe he should hand over his phone just to make sure he's telling the truth.
Don't know who to trust on this. ESPN with their shoddy sources in the NFL office or the guy who looks like a slimy used car salesman.

Apropos to this thread r.e. Irsay & the media....

driving home from the gym i put on EEI and ****erson has fat useless POS Tomase on. They happen to be talking about Irsay perhaps texting/emailing Goodell & urging him to come down hard on Brady. It's a big joke to them, and it's possible to glean that they think it's no big deal that other owners are influencing Goodell.

but here's the best part - Tomase, and this is pretty much a direct quote - "if you take away the substance abuse, he's actually a pretty fun guy. he's accessible to the media, he plays the guitar." he continues saying that Irsay built the successful Manning Indianapolis teams, making key personnel decisions. ****erson sort of corrected him, noting that Polian was Gm and the architect of those teams. Tomase, as most media members would do, doesn't acknowledge his mistake, but continues to talk about how "cool" and "accessible" Irsay has been.

further into his discussion r.e. Irsay being a "nice guy" we find out why - apparently scumbag tomase wrote a piece about "poison pills" in contracts back in 06 or 07 - that f#cking idiot couldnt even remember when he wrote the article. apparently, Irsay called him personally to "correct" him, saying that Irsay, not the Patriots or Jets "invented" the poison pill. ****erson questions Tomase about his interaction with Irsay, and Tomase simply gives a glowing review of Irsay - he was friendly, "cool", and "talked to me at length.

So here we have another example, of a media jezebel, a media charlatan, pumping the tires of a reprehensible individual for the simple reason that "he was nice and accessible."

F#cking sports media are nothing more than, in the words of Kevin Mannix when talking about Belichick, "duplicitous pond scum."

Gee, if only the Patriots had been cool with Tomase and joked around with him, he never would have run with that fake Rams walkthrough story. It's the Patriots own fault for not being nicer to him.

Actually it's a matter of semantics and Sal can still be right. Bisciotti said he never "pressured" Goodell. He didn't deny contacting Goodell or anyone else in the league office. That was a response written by an attorney to keep him from lying.....Pressure is in the eye of the beholder.
Bisciotti said:
Bisciotti: "I have not and will not put any pressure on commissioner or anyone representing NFL office to take action in ... 'DeflateGate.'

Perception is in the eye of the beholder, too.

The real question is whether the amount of pressure on Goodell was in excess of the ambient pressure he would feel under the same conditions in their absence, per square inch of Goodell of course. Call it the Ideal Gasbag Law.

Also, Bisciotti? Seriously? This freakin' kangaroo court is being influenced by a crispy pastry from Starbuck's?

Oh the headline today says no.

So, yes.

More signs of the end times... dogs laying down with cats... cats saying "Oh long johnson..."

I just heard Jason Cole on CBS Sports Radio (another one who accepts the Wells Report uncritically). He believes the delay in the ruling is because they are trying to wear Brady down and get him to accept the 2 game suspension and not appeal and end this thing.

Makes no sense to me. Keeping it at four games is bad optics after the Hardy suspension, so he'll have to cut it to two anyway. And, why would Brady agree not to sue in exchange for what the commissioner would rule anyway?

Hahaha. IGL.

Cold day in hell, he just deflates.

Didn't we hear that complex theory like a week ago?

Jason Cole...lifelong Dolphin fan...ex writer for the Miami Herald who posted hundreds of the most inane, negative screeds aimed at the Patriots in sports writing history? THIS is the reason I need to patent my Azzwipe To Toilet Paper printer...you just highlight a column like this, click the "print to toilet paper" icon and it comes out clear on wide sheets of Charmin' Ultra Soft.

Has to be a winner...you get a much higher coverage area on the wipe and the satisfaction that this moron's work is being utilized in the most efficient way possible.

Of course it's them. Ravens want punishment for tricking them with a legal formation and Colts for needing an excuse for getting thumped time and time again.
And time and time and time....
