Ryan Allen Extended

Risky move. I heard Irsay & several other GMs are pressuring Goodell to make left-foot punters illegal.

The Patriots should extend Develin and Siliga who will be RFAs next year. Then, they can
work on the big guys like Solder, Hightower, Jones, and Collins.

all in time

BB is smart to put importance on STs. Many of us - and even other teams - I think gloss over their importance. For a while, I wondered why BB was so obsessed with "risking" valuable players by having them play STs, but with a cap and a league full of players working their butts off - STs is often the deciding factor W/L...

Guy is an excellent holder too, you have to be with Danny Aiken snapping.

Hope he's doing something to prep for the 900000 mph spirals Cardona will be sending his way. Him, Ghost and Cardona may be the best ST combo on the NFL. That does mean something.

Nice! Now he can go on vacation because Brady is angry.

Wonder if he Bill wakes up from a nightmare in a sweat ...
game tied with 4 minutes left ...
Ken Walter is punting from the end zone...

Great! I wasn't sure how much of an upgrade he would actually be over Mesko but it seems pretty noticeable to me. He's real good.
What I thought when both where here was that Mesko was more accurate. He was better at getting the ball so that it rolled out before the end zone, or having it bounce back so that it didn't roll into the end zone. Allen on the other hand had a much stronger kick, but they tended to not be as accurate. But since then Allen has kept his much stronger kick, and become much more accurate than he was before. So now we get long kicks, that are really well placed so they don't become touchbacks. He can also give kick really long balls, with great hang time so our gunners can force the returner to make a fair catch.

Belichick really made the right decision. He went with the guy that was slightly worse from the start, but with much higher upside, and that payed off.

Lol, i liked ken, had an opportunity through my job a couple years ago to be in his house, his wife knew i was a pats fan and told me to take my time on the 3rd floor. Lots of cool pats stuff up there, pictures of walters holding for the the snowbowl and superbowl fgs. Must have been 20 game balls, very cool

He did. Allen cut his touchbacks in half last year. He'll continue to improve no question.
