I didn't read the article but isn't "gotten away with murder" just an expression? Or was it actually referring to Hernandez?

Crappy that the Ravens are allegedly involved. BB has been nothing but great to Ozzie and that organization.

Including giving Ozzie his first NFL job after he retired. Either Ozzie is a **** or it comes from Cass or the Big Cookie himself.

To be fair we don't really know what Ozzie Newsome thinks. It's really just a speculative article naming two owners that we already suspected in the first place. Didn't say anything about GMs.

On one hand, I completely understand why the Colts and Ravens are leading the charge. They have the most to gain if the Patriots fall from grace. THEY have been our biggest and most consistent rivals and keenest competitors over this run. If I were a fan of those teams, I would be pleased with my owner is doing this..

However this only makes Bob Kraft's capitulation only look worse. While his "partners" are looking to screw him to a wall, Bob sold out his team and his fans supposedly "for the good of the league". And until he at least, acknowledges his horrendous error in judgment, he will have squandered 20 years of great ownership. and the reputation of being one of the best owners in professional sports.

BTW - this is ANOTHER predatory leak from the NFL where the message they want to get across is clear. The Pats have been getting away with murder for years and other owners are pissed.

My favorite part was when the Chargers owner said he respects Kraft for owning up and taking the punishment. You know, the same guy whose team didn't corporate when they were caught using stickum and appealed and WON.

The man who literally got away with murder has a statue in front of the Ravens stadium and is embraced by Goodell

There is a statue of Jim Irsay at in front of the ravens Stadium?

I was trying to be fair. I think Ozzie is a very good GM.

The WWE uses a villain to increase interest. The NFL is using the WWE marketing strategy and creating the Patriots as the villain. Just enjoy being the villain. Being the Evil Empire. Professor X needs Magneto. Relish the role. Watch them all cry. Sooner or later the reign will end. But in the mean time - we are Sherman marching to the sea, scorching the earth. Cheer the burning of the weak competition and be proud of being the Cheatriots. The Patriots Pro shop should sell "Cheatriots" jerseys with the Number 666. We root for the Bully, and all the Bully does is WIN !!!

Must be stated AGAIN, that Kraft sold the team out for no good reason. All the other owners are trying their hardest to take his team down. Does Robert or Jonathon Kraft have social media accounts? They HAVE to know that the fan base is furious with his decision. I hope they don't get involved in the banner ceremony, I think the crowd won't give them a friendly response.

Should be apparent that this was an attempted sting job from the start but again, there is no definitive evidence anywhere that anything illegal happened. If the league couldn't crack two low level employees for a confession after hours of questioning and that they haven't sold out to a tabloid or TMZ, it should be clear that they nothing.

Knock'm OUT Again! Send'm home losers, best revenge!

""Jim Irsay of the Colts. Steve Bisciotti of the Ravens and others in the AFC who believe the Patriots have gotten away with murder for years and have not been publicly punished properly.”"

Let the record be clear.....AHern did not get away with murder. And for the record, AHern was publicly punished properly
Didn't Irsay see the AHern court records posted on the same page next to his??

No, that would have been Ray Lewis

BB has been good to Ozzie but I wouldn't say he's been good to the organization. He has great respect for Ozzie, but the hate goes beyond Ozzie in the organization. They feel NE robbed them of SB's because they cheated or always get the calls, two popular execuses with B-More and their fans.

Now it is 100% clear about what's happening. After seeing that some influential owners were leading the charge yesterday, I had presumed that perhaps even some borderline disinterested owners without a dog in the race might have been championing for justice. Now I see it is the same whiny b1tches that we have already seen so many times act like whiny b1tches. Nothing more; nothing less.

It's funny how now the narrative is about how the Patriots have "gotten away with murder" for so many years now and no longer the clearly fake, false frame job that these teams collectively attempted on Brady. It was obvious immediately in the aftermath because several Ravens players spoke to the media and complained the balls were underinflated before retracting their statements upon hearing that kicking game balls are handled differently. But no, now it's about a long-term punishment to the baaaaad Patriots for violations that are so horribly bad that they don't even need to be discussed publicly. That's how bad they are. Really bad. Because we just know that d1psh1ts like Irsay and Bisciotti are so classy and take the high road that when wronged in the past, they have just kept their mouths shut about it. Of course they have. And now, they just want to see the baaaaaaad Patriots pay for this large accumulation of mass cheating with secret scandals that they won't talk about...weird that these owners were so secretive and concerned with the league's image that they have purposely staged the most public "cheating" scandal in recent memory. Hey, they clearly lied and screamed wolf about some not delfated balls, but now, let's hear them out...oh, those poor, believable souls say it isn't about this, it's about other stuff. Lot's of other stuff. You can't make this stuff up.

Now we can all be 100% sure that this is nothing more than jealousy.

And yes, Bob Kraft should relinquish control of the team to Jonathan immediately, as in before the start of the next season. Kraft is a gullible man who lied to his fan base in having us believe 31 other teams had their pitchforks out when it turned out to be a couple of clowns whose teams and personal situations both avoided punishments with the help of Kraft's best bff.

I just don't understand how it can even be ok for goddell to listen to rival teams owners suggestions for punishment. I would think if anything this should help Bradys case.

It's not. Kessler is having a field day with this stuff.

Also my reaction to seeing the initial news...

No way!

Also, does anyone find it interesting that Sal Pal outed those 2? He didn't have to do that. I doubt the are happy that he did it. Why would they want their names out there? I think Sal Pal has had enough with the BS and is publicly outing the whiners for once. No more sources. No more "influential owners" BS. I'm sure there are more, but it could be, just could be the other owners have had enough of Biscotti and Irsay that they want them to get hit.

I dunno seems interesting to me.
