colts and ravens owner leading the charge

Robert Kraft would not be happy that you are criticizing his team to support your team.

hehehehe of course they are.

The little respect I have for the Ravens org (Ozzie/Blue collar nature) is going out the window, the only thing thats saving them is their competitiveness on the field. The Colts are a joke of an org and I haven't respected that franchise for a while lol. From Irsay to Grigson to the baby shiet soft team they field. They represent everything thats wrong with todays fantasy football dominated NFL culture.

""Jim Irsay of the Colts. Steve Bisciotti of the Ravens and others in the AFC who believe the Patriots have gotten away with murder for years and have not been publicly punished properly.”"

Let the record be clear.....AHern did not get away with murder. And for the record, AHern was publicly punished properly
Didn't Irsay see the AHern court records posted on the same page next to his??

This is making me wonder if the original unjustifiably harsh punishment and Goodell's decision to hear the appeal and the pressure strategy the NFL is putting on Brady to get him to accept a punishment have all been a result of owners like Irsay and Bisciotti pushing for retribution against the Patriots rather than some sort of misguided attempt to look strong to the media and public like I originally thought. I just can't get past how obviously stupid some of the moves and leaks have been if the NFL's goal was to look good in front of the public because they could have just offered this up to an independent arbitrator and wiped their hands clean in order to push this out of the public eye. The NFL would have been able to claim they had nothing to do with the matter after the initial punishment and there would probably not have been a good case to bring it to court. But Goodell delegating the original harsh punishment so he could take on the appeal himself and then leaking all this information about how he is trying to put pressure on Brady to accept a suspension without going to court makes a lot more sense if the context is Goodell trying to give the appearance that he is raking the Patriots over the coals to appease the Patriots' rival owners. This is making Goodell, Irsay, and Bisciotti all look extremely petty.

I didn't read the article but isn't "gotten away with murder" just an expression? Or was it actually referring to Hernandez?

Hey more evidence supporting a frame job! What do you know?

I just don't understand how it can even be ok for goddell to listen to rival teams owners suggestions for punishment. I would think if anything this should help Bradys case.

I almost feel sorry for these two teams next year. Colts in the regular season, and Ravens in the playoffs. Both will get the pounding of their lives.

I can only imagine if the Ravens and Colts get caught conspiring against the Patriots. What are people going to claim the court is on Kraft's payroll?
