[NFL Propaganda] NFL would like you to think they are wearing Brady down

Kraft is fighting 31 other business "partners".

Brady's only partner is Gisele (and Under Armour, Vitamin Water, Uggs, etc who have no reason for him to back down).

Right is right. If you cannot stand up for the truth, you are part of the lie.

Kraft already stood down.

If Brady admits to something untrue, then he is just as blameable.

In fact, if Brady admits to doing something that didn't happen about HIMSELF, it would be WORSE.

Other than the non-cooperation part, I don't see it ever happening (unless he truly WAS involved).

Kraft isn't fighting anyone - that's the problem, and it's his (some of) partners that are behind this debacle.

I don't believe Brady would admit to anything or accept any punishment, I was commenting on the hypothetical on if he did. And if he did I would still blame Kraft much more, mainly for his multiple capitulations, his overall cowardice and his turncoat mentality.

Involved in what? Why do people keep overlooking the fact that Brady couldn't have been involved because the science proves that there was nothing to be involved in.
Are we ready to say that Brady will admit to being the Kennedy assassin and that means he was involved?

haha, ffs, does anyone actually believe that? How little do you have to know about Brady to think that a clown like Goodell could come out ahead of him in any contest of will?

If Brady 'loses' here, it will be because victory was essentially impossible. Roger ****ing Goodell isn't going to pull one over on him and his legal team.

I have no idea what you are trying to invent.

The word "if" when used in a hypothetical is a rather simple concept to comprehend.

No one is saying he was involved. It is clear I feel he should fight this all the way through.

But obviously you are spoiling to do another Andy Johnson fight.

Goodell is behaving like a District Attorney trying to squeeze a junkie into a take or leave it plea agreement. Instead of treating Brady, as model an NFL citizen as there ever was, a man who has helped lift the NFL to ungodly riches, Goodell chooses to publicly bleed him with a thousand cuts before lopping off a limb. It's disgusting behavior.

How? He and the other owners gave him the unlimited power. Does he hold his breath til he turns blue?
Kraft couldn't influence a light bulb into a socket in the League office.

Yea but Kraft is an expert at getting screwed and screwing over his team.

Which they could take away at any time. Goodell was supposedly on very thin ice after the Ray Rice fiasco. Guess who came running to his rescue to use whatever power and influence he had to stand up and support goodell (possibly saving his job). Guess who won't do the same for Brady.

Also if recent reports are to be believed goodell is being influenced by a certain segment of owners lobbying against Brady. Kraft either has no power or is unwilling to use it. Either way he's pathetic.

Why do the owners want to keep him? He ****s up everything. Only good thing he does it take all the blame for the owners frat's bad ideas and somebody else could do that.

If Cole's report is true and the NFL is waiting until the start of training camp, I'd like to get a LEGAL opinion as the timeframe of filing for an injunction. Please, no fanboys I'd like to get a response from
...the nfl will announce the suspension a day before the season stars.
As I said in another thread, I'm not normally a conspiratorialist but after reading Cole's report I can see the NFL going "all in: Cole's report was leaked but it's purpose is tantamount to a dare. "We dare you not to settle" Given Brady's competitive personality I can see him putting his chips in and calling out the NFL

He's made some good financial moves in terms of settling the concussion lawsuit for pennies on the dollar, making the NFL a 24/7 global brand, and increasing revenue. He also got a decent deal for them in the latest CBA.

The almighty dollar is what most owners are concerned with, with any dealings of player punishment a very distant afterthought. When you take that into consideration, it's easy to see why he has so much owner support.

Considering that TC starts next week, I don't think Cole's exactly going out on a limb in his prediction of the timeframe :)

Sadly, all accurate. However I do question how much of an impact Goody has had on actual revenue and if his policies have actually helped the brand.

Well, Kraft is not a they. If the majority of owners thought Goodell was incompetent and bad for the league, they could vote him out. Obviously, such a majority doesn't exist.

There's an article that four owners are trying to influence him. If they are the owners of the Jets, Ravens colts etc. then they are the favored owners for whatever reason and the cause of the current farce.

Kraft was made a fool of, no doubt and it seems he thought he had goodell in his back pocket when, in reality, goodell stabbed him in the back.

Let's face it, the guy really thought Goodell was going to apologize to the team and was shocked [as I and everyone i know was] about the punishment].

Given those facts, why would anyone think an appeal, by one of the people who gave Goodell unlimited power, to Goodell and no one else, as a member of a private club, who's rules he had agreed to, would be anything but a farce?

Yep and I predict TB12 couldn't care less.

I'm assuming that they were well prepared for this kind of timeframe, particularly after the 6 weeks it took for the Hardy ruling.

I predicted that we wouldn't hear anything during the months of June or July, so if my dumb ass can figure it out I'm guessing that a room full of great legal minds were prepared for anything up to mid--August. Even that would still give them 3 more weeks before the opener to get a ruling on the (expected) stay.

Well, he left his wife's sick bed to handle the crucial NFLPA contract that Goodell had screwed up, ran the lucrative media contracts, being called the "assistant commisioner", then demanded an apology, but got a butt reaming instead.

I agree it's pathetic and he got fooled more than anyone in this mess, but everyone got fooled.

I'm just guessing that, in a long and successful business career, Kraft has been fooled and stabbed in the back more than once, and most likely exacted revenge, unless you think he got his money like the Beverly Hillbillies.

I am not going to speculate on what brady is thinking, I don't know Him and don't know anyone that knows him, so basically all I know is what I see on TV and I'm not basing what he might do on that.

If goodell waits until a few days before the season to rule I'm betting a dozen judges will grant an immediate injunction.

But if Brady does take a deal that includes missing even one game then I will be forced to believe there is something about this he knew about.

I sure hope he doesn't give in becuase that IMHO is worse than taking the original suspension. The media will have a field day.

That's my line of thinking as well..
