Because csnne.com isn't a secure site, and the link starts with https:// .

None of it matters. I do love seeing it, trust me. I suppose I really don't know if it IS making an impact but I'm assuming no because the rational conclusion hasn't been decided upon yet. The problem about this is, it was NEVER about footballs. Ever. It was about hurting the Pats (and SB distraction) and now it's being openly reported by sources that some of the "certain owners" are of teams they play in the first 4 weeks. That's what it's been about this whole time. I'm not all convinced that Rex knew the plan and Revis as well.

Funny part is, this WILL get pushed back to next year. TB will destroy everyone. Gronk is pissed. Edelman is pissed. They cannot possibly imagine what those types of attitudes can do for a player.

I haven't actually seen this anywhere.... but wouldn't it be great if Brady got the suspension thrown out and Bill decided to beat them with Garoppolo anyway? Not that Tom would ever sit and let him do that, but I just think it would be funny......

“I think other owners are concerned about what this means to the commissioner’s credibility,” the high-ranking team official said. “Do they care if it’s four games or two games or one game? I’m not sure they do. But they would like to see the commissioner emerge from it credible and looking like he’s dealing from a position of strength. I’m sure there are some [owners] who are anti-Patriots and jealous of their success. And then there are those who have to play them in the first four games.”

No. It would be great if TB12 went out there and savaged those mofos.

There is a small part of me (VERY small, almost infinitesimal), that wants to see Brady suspended, Jimmy steps in and goes 4-0. BB makes the controversial decision to stick with him, trading Brady for a 1st rounder in 2017 (so it isn't taken away as a higher pick), and Jimmy goes on to win three more Super Bowls before BB retires. Then we could point to this whole ridiculous farce, say, "Thank you, haters! Your witch hunt gave rise to the second half of this incredible dynasty!", and watch the entire NFL nation implode.

(Psst... just let me have my fun).

Is it me, or have the winds shifted a bit? Ol' Rog better pull his finger down quick and make his decision, I sense a momentum swing.

Nope. Nothing has shifted. We all want it to be so. I certainly do. However nothing has changed. The problem is there was NONE of this in the weeks following January 19th 2014. None. It was Morts report and let's fry the Pats. I personally saw Felger, Mazz and Beetle having coronaries on media row up here in Phx during Super Bowl week. That is the genesis of this whole situation. That's all media row was talking about. 2 PSI low. Rinse and repeat. That's why we are where we are. Articles like this are nice, but carry zero weight.

I wonder if Kepler 452b has better sports reporting and sports talk radio than the metro Boston area?

They've had a billion more years to find and contact us. Why do you think they haven't?

Maybe it's a bizarro world where the commissioner of the most popular sport on the planet is concerned with the long term viability of the sport, therefore promoting modest, even handed enforcement only when necessary and promoting the safety of players by researching soft helmets, and avoiding unnecessarily long trips to other continents, and games with less than 6 days rest in between, to ensure future profitability by maintaining a high level of competition.

This bizarro commissioner even believes that people tune in to watch excellence and championship play regardless of parity in a given time period.

Fu.ck. No. If I was Brady and Belichick even thought about that I would demand a trade straight up. Talk about disrespect.

And maybe in your Bizzaro world Felger and Mazz would not be a couple of scientifically illiterate douche bags. o_O

I'm sorry, I don't speak Greek.

They'd be thoughtful football experts thrilled to provide in depth analysis on the beloved local championship team.
