Go-to-hell fires back (thru media)

One media spin on the way one piece of the appeal went. You were hammering @AndyJohnson for "making up," kraft not "making himself available," in person or over the phone. Which is more convincing, and a more thorough show of support; in person, or a piece of paper typed up by the lawyers intern and signed before being sent off? You got your link, now sit back down with your mac n cheese and let the adults converse.
I never said AJ made anything up. Was it really typed up by a lawyers intern or are you just making that up?

BTW, I like mac n cheese, not the boxed crap though. Fresh made with an Alfredo sauce, Mozzarella, bread crumbs and a good portion of ham chunks. Mmmmmm!!!

This thread ..and the posters who have posted on it remind me of this famous commercial. It was produced for the 1984 Superbowl before many of you were born. It was shown only only once

That is fine. You are fine with Kraft choosing the other 31 teams over this one.
You are fine with him helping tarnish that legacy, actually the one that Belichick built.
You are fine with him giving in and not defending his team and his GOAT QB from being assaulted, ridiculed and punished for something that didn't happen.
You are fine with a spineless owner because he happened to hire Bill Belichick and bear the fruit of that.
I am not.
As you said, we know where each other stands.
Problem with me is you leveling blame on the owner.

I blame the real bad guys. Goodell, Kensil, Pash, Vincent, Grigson et al.

Kraft isn't the bad guy. My vitriol is aimed at them. Bob should have never been put in that position in the first place. Where was the warning? Hey, Grigson said balls were under-inflated in the Nov. game, don't let it happen again.

Instead they set up a sting. Entraptment. Pure and simple. The NFL FO NY Jet Mafia are the real spineless bastards and everyone knows it.

I disagree. Kraft from 2007 on has done everything in his power to aid and abet the POS commission and his Jets henchmen. This entails grovelling at his feet when punishment without precedent or justification is given to his team and protecting him as in the Rice fiasco. So to hold Kraft blameless is ridiculous. when you bed down with dogs, you wake up with fleas.

Man I just love watching cat fights.

Thanks, ladies.

Totally disagree. Kraft has a responsibility to protect his team. Giving in and handing away 2 draft picks was negligent to the franchise. They did nothing, and he bowed down and refused to fight.
To make it worse, he has been anything but supportive of Brady.
Brady's name was not mentioned in the capitulation speech, when there was a perfect opportunity to support him while falling on the sword.
When point blank asked if he hoped Brady would be on the field in the opener, he said he hoped everyone who deserved to be on the field would be. That is trolling, not support.
Then when Brady asked him to help with the appeal, he refused the first 2 options, which would have required him to show he was on Bradys side in front of Goodell and wrote a letter.
I'm not sure what in all of this you think Kraft did right, but if it is your position that people can do wrong if they find someone else to blame it on, I see why we disagree.

I don't doubt that people will be going to games but that doesn't change the fact that Kraft has gone from the most beloved owner to a subject hate and ridicule by his actions. we will just see what type of reception he gets on opening night especially if he is chatting with his good buddy Goodell in the owner's box.

No he has gone from appreciation to hate with a handful of noxious what I can only describe as their favorite epithet for Kraft as turds who post incessantly as if they represented the majority of fans.

This longtime fan doesn't like what Kraft did; but recognizes the deck was stacked against him and chose to fight his battles another time. Kraft is the best thing to happen to the Patriots since I've been following them since 1962. The over the top detractors have known nothing but success and don't know Kiam or Sullivan.

Or they have no appreciation for the real fools that exist like Woody Johnson, the Bidwell family, the original Rooney etc.

Agree with everything you said, but the conclusion/wish that he had shown up. TB was better off without him. Or do you honestly think that in an appeal that was supposed to only go 4hours that something like this would have been useful......

RK: Tom has been the perfect player. The hardest working guy on the team who everyone else looks up to.

Nfl attny: mr Kraft, are you trying to say NO ONE in your organization did anything wrong, you know mr go-to-hell has your favorite yellow duckie hostage til this thing is done.

RK(sobbing): Oh Tom, just tell them you did it already! oh the agony, I can't take the pressure anymore

Mr Ommissioner, prosecution rests.

Newbie! Pats fan in 1960.
Loved Kraft.
Utterly despise the man for his REPEAT of his 2008 mistake. The repeat has ruined the perception of TFB, Belichick and the team outside of NE. "Their owner admitted they cheated" (sic)

I have been following them since 1960 so you boast does not impress me at all. I am certainly not going to defend Kiam who was an idiot, but without Billy Sullivan, there would be no Patriots or have you forgotten that. Unlike your idol Kraft who used his late wife's fortune to purchase the team, Billy Sullivan had no resources but was willing to stand up for the team. Unfortunately, he had a financia fool for a son and lost the team them. Kraft's great genius was to hire BB on the rebound after in case you forgot rejected him in favor of the Grier /Carrol tandem after he ran Parcells out of town. If Leon Hess didn't die with whom BB had an understanding and the team was sold to Johnson who was and is an idiot, the Jets could have been the sucess not the Pats. Remember also it was BB who chose Brady not Kraft's favorite Bledsoe. The highlight of Kraft's ownership was staying away from bothering the team in the period from hiring BB to 2007 when he decided to support the POS Goodell rather than his coach and team. Since then he has been a continuing disgrace in his slavish support for Goodell in the Rice fiasco and disgraceful capitulation. Maybe you believe its for the team and its fans, but few other people do. I have little doubt that if Brady takes it court whose side Kraft will be on as the ultimate stab in the back for one of the two people who are responsible for the team's success. It is real object lesson in who is the real fool and the influential owner when you compare the punishment of the Woody Johnson Jets versus Kraft's Pats. Unless you consider tampering with players to be insignificant and the natural drop in PSI in footballs to be a major infraction. WE will see on opening day the reception received by Kraft arm in arm with his buddy Goodell who opinion of the fan base is more accurate.
