I think get ol'get along Bob is more concerned with non-football matters at this time like counting his money and fantasizing what he could do with his escort.
i think we all are wondering the same thing about his escort.

Who knows what the league believes. This is what makes me so frustrated! While I was driving home, I was listening to John Clayton on local radio. He said there has to be some suspension. The Patriots were "caught" deflating footballs, they know who did it, and an "independent investigation" found Brady knew about it.

This is an NFL reporter who covers the NFL every f-ing day! He seems to be completely ignorant of the fact that it is most likely there was no deflation of the footballs and the Wells Report has not only been shredded, but also likely hired a scientific firm that gives the client the result it wants. If HE is that ignorant, what do you think other owners believe.

It's so frustrating the level of ignorance out there for those who should know better.
Are u the original bubble boy? Do u not know that outside the New England states who country believes the Pats cheated?
As I'm typing this , I'm thinking forward to Febuary 2016 visualizing the Pats hold up the trophy to Super Bowl 50 and me saying F you John Clayton Fu to everyone!

Yes, believe me, I DO know that since I live outside the New England states.

It's just shocking to me because national NFL reporters should know better. Their ignorance of basic facts is appalling.

yeah..the report coming from ESPN 6 months ago was the balls were 10 PSI...10,000+ ESPN/NFLN LIES later and THIS report is TRUE?

C'mon...it's the NFL blinking...total bullshyt
So true, you really can't trust any report. All reports are just glorified guesses a good chunk of them not being true.

You may have posted this earlier in the week, but Clayton apparently theorized that Brady had the footballs deflated because a lighter ball would mean less strain on his previously injured shoulder. He believed that 2 PSI equalled 2 pounds. How could anyone who covered this league for decades believe that a football weighs 12 pounds?

After saying something so dumb, a reasonable reaction would be to go back and learn as much as possible about the situation. It sounds like Clayton doubled down on ignorance.

Wow. Clayton really said that? I guess it IS possible to look like the biggest nerd in the world and still be stupid AF.

Clayton is like many of the writers whose eyes gloss over when any type of science is involved. Throw physics in or chemistry as the Ideal Gas Law and they are lost totally...
I simplify for the rocket scientists down here in Philly who accuse Brady and the Pats of cheating.
I ask them, " if you go out to your car in winter and it reads low tire pressure, does that mean somebody snuck in and let air out of your tires overnight?" They get it sometimes.

I believe in your premise but Clayton has never had an original thought in his life. He says what ESPN wants to hear.

Someone called Clayton a reporter and I find that disturbing. Wtf still reads anything from Espn after all those fd up smear campaign headlines they've produced the last 7 months. Sorry but I don't even read Reiss anymore or listen to Bruschi's stuff. They have him locked away in a closet nowadays anyway.

Clayton plz, the contrarion, the guy that said in 2006, after Miami stole and have Zac Thomas admitting that they had the Pats audibles hence giving us the beat down of our lives. "That's just part of football." And then to come back the next year and spew his bs. F him and everyone that works there. Glad he lost his job to Schefter. Pencil necked geek. That whole network is a joke. mouthpiece to the Nyfl. Afraid to lose their contract for the games they so desperately paid for.

Goodell Being 'Pushed' By Influential Owners to Keep Brady's Suspension at Four Games

Ian Logue

It appears there are some other NFL Owners out there that want to keep Patriots quarterback Tom Brady off the field as long as possible in 2015.

Seems to me that all the owners have become potential witnesses in what is about to come in Federal Court. Did you or did you not have dialog with the (supposedly neutral) commissioner? Please provide emails and phone records. They can't be happy about that, can they?

If they are his frat brothers, somebody ought to tell Bob that the hazing is over...
I think Bob actually enjoys the hazing and is asking for more while his frat brothers laugh at him

The more I read about the latest developments in this situation each month, the more I feel like I'm watching a WWE plot unfold on SyFy channel.

Kind of looks like,,,,,,,,,,,,

What makes for an influential owner ? Seriously. Does Mara really make more difference than whomever owns the Chargers ?

The entire story is BS. For adversaries to lobby a commissioner obsessed with "integrity" to uphold a suspension ?!?! I'm beyond tired of this story. If ever I consume some sort of poison, I'll think of Air pressure dilemma 2015 and puke it all out.

Give them enough rope!

It's not surprising to hear that there are owners lobbying to keep the same penalty.

I'm much more curious as to whether or not there are any owners who feel that Brady and the Pats got screwed, even though they'd never admit it.
