Well, for $, we know he'll do anything or nothing as in not appeal. Respect the Shield because it's full of integrity.

I have no idea if Brady specifically asked Kraft to appear in person or by calling in. I do know that it would have meant more to the fans and probably brady himself if Kraft had shown up instead of sending a letter. The appearance is he didn't want to be there so he used the old "I have a preplanned trip to the holy land" excuse. Ha
The travel could have been a somewhat legitimate excuse, but when he was asked to testify by phone and said no, that made it clear he chose to not support Brady against Goodell.

What in the world are you talking about?
Kraft choosing not to testify in person, and not to testify by phone is a fact. Like, you know, something that happened.

I'm not that good at the computering thing, but you keep laying down the standard Straw Man argument when people are asking you for a link to show what you claim to be this common knowledge that Brady essentially begged Kraft, yet Kraft refused. I can pretty much guarantee that no one else has seen this information. I've been following this FrameGate bulls**t very closely since day one, yet your statements are the first I've heard of any of this. Maybe admit that this is merely your theory, but don't try to throw this around as fact, please.

Last paragraph of first page also states thr NFL PA requested testimony via phone. This was widely reported at the time. STFU already, a simple Google search takes seconds...

There was a lengthy discussion about it on the day of the appeal.
Here is a tweet

Interesting to note: The @NFLPA called Robert Kraft to testify over the phone. He could not. So he offered a written statement of support.

You being unaware of something that happened does not make it non-existent, nor does the fact that dozens of posters commented on it means that "no one else has seen this information".

As I said, lengthy discussion on this very board, and tweets from at least 2 reporters pretty much make it common knowledge.

Andy, I apologize and stand corrected. I told you I'm not good at computering, so I must have been using the wrong search words in my Google search. My reaction to you was based on someone asking you for a link, and it appeared as if you were trying really hard to deflect the need for a link. Again, my heartiest o' apologies, sir, for misinterpreting and probably needing to not get involved in the sidebar conversation.

Kraft’s letter reportedly had its intended effect, as one source told ESPN’s Adam Schefter it had “almost a holy feel to it.”

Iv'e been in the woods on vacation for a couple of weeks but this hardly sounds like abandonment. Like anything matters in an appeal to an NFL FO full of ex-Jets.

One media spin on the way one piece of the appeal went. You were hammering @AndyJohnson for "making up," kraft not "making himself available," in person or over the phone. Which is more convincing, and a more thorough show of support; in person, or a piece of paper typed up by the lawyers intern and signed before being sent off? You got your link, now sit back down with your mac n cheese and let the adults converse.

So even when proven wrong you can't just accept it?

Kraft wrote a letter.

Brady's legacy is at stake. Bob couldn't be troubled to pickup the phone. Or, more appropriately, wouldn't pick up the phone because he needed to support Goodell over Brady.

I''m sure you supported Kraft refusing to appeal and just accept the penalty for the sake of the other 31 teams too.

No worries.

Personally I'm glad that spineless bob didn't testify in person for Brady.

goodell would've got to spineless bob before he spoke, put his arm around him and whispered a few words into his ear, and bob would've cracked

"I was going to testify about the strength of Tom's character, but for the good of the 32 let's just say he deflated the footballs and move forward"

Schefter meant "wholey" as in weak. Because holy matters have no effect on Satan/Goodell.

Of course, none of that is what you described happening.

You said Brady begged Kraft to support him. It doesn't say that. It says the NFLPA asked him. You act as though the trip was a convenient excuse instead of a major deal involving multiple NFL hall of famers planned long ahead of time. You don't know why Kraft didn't testify by phone, only that was reported that he could not.

So, no, it's not exactly what you described. And you know what? I'll bet Brady wasn't as upset about it as you are.

Whatever guy. We all know no matter what he says/does matters nothing to the Fuhrer. You want to trash Bob Kraft I'm not joining you on that island. This has a long way to go before being played out and my allegiance is with the guy that bought this team, kept them in Foxboro instead of letting them move to St. Loius and helped create a legacy second to none in the annals of pro football.

At least we know where each other stands.

Of course, none of that is what you described happening.
Oh really?

You said Brady begged Kraft to support him.
You know as well as I do that I never said that, but feel free to find it in this thread. You won't because its not there.

It doesn't say that. It says the NFLPA asked him.
The NFLPA, Brady's representatives asked Kraft to testify. He did not.

You act as though the trip was a convenient excuse instead of a major deal involving multiple NFL hall of famers planned long ahead of time.
Where did I ever say that? Of course I didn't.
I even said that may have been a legitimate excuse, but he lost that excuse by refusing to testify by phone.
And he was back from the trip before the hearing was over.

You don't know why Kraft didn't testify by phone, only that was reported that he could not.
His franchise player was fighting for his legacy and asked for help. Does it really matter why he didn't testify by phone? We know he could have. Planes have phones.

So, no, it's not exactly what you described. And you know what? I'll bet Brady wasn't as upset about it as you are.
No, it was EXACTLY what I described. What it wasn't was what you just made up as my description, but again feel free to find any of my words that match up with what you just said. You won't.

Kraft chose Goodell over Brady. I find that repulsive. I'm sure Brady does too, but since you can make up and argument I never made to argue against, I suppose you can also claim to know what Brady thinks.

That is fine. You are fine with Kraft choosing the other 31 teams over this one.
You are fine with him helping tarnish that legacy, actually the one that Belichick built.
You are fine with him giving in and not defending his team and his GOAT QB from being assaulted, ridiculed and punished for something that didn't happen.
You are fine with a spineless owner because he happened to hire Bill Belichick and bear the fruit of that.
I am not.
As you said, we know where each other stands.
