They should sharpie a big X through the NFL shield or cover it up on all the Patriot gameballs pre-game.

Throw it on the ground and say "maaan I ain't going to part of this system pleeease...." And then walk off the field.

I THREW YOUR BALL ON THE GROUND! YOU CAN'T BUY ME OFF! I'M A GROWN MAN!

Excuse me for answering a question with a question, but is Roger Goodell in attendance? :)

Take out a Sharpie and make a big asterisk next to the NFL shield.

Take out a vintage 2005 cellphone holster secretly stashed in the goal post. Pull cell phone out and toss it on the ground. Take out gauge hidden under cell phone. Gauge the ball on national TV.

Serve 4 more game suspension, lose another first round pick...

Nothing. The NFL logo is pee-stained and washed out this year. And not because an employee went to the bathroom for 90 seconds.

Forget the first TD. When they toss in the first ball he should shout at the head referee "Are you SURE? Can I play with this ball? You're on TV! Is this one good?"

He should do that every time a ball is thrown in.

He shouldn't do anything to celebrate. It's business as usual. Just walk away.

Nothing at all, just continue to be "Tom Cool", act as though this is expected behavior.. he has been here before and understands the expectations.. not doing anything is a huge FU to Goodell and the Jets NFL staff.

1. Take needle out of his arm band and deflate the ball.
2. Take pressure gauge out of his helmet and give a thumbs up to the camera.
3. Give camera the finger.
4. Take out deflated dummy doll of Roger Goodell from his cleat.
5. Inflate dummy doll of Roger Goodell using air pump from his knee pad.
6. Give dummy doll of Roger Goodell the following wrestling moves: the People's Elbow, Rock Botton, the Stone Cold Stunner, the Tombstone.
7. Repeat process.
Those would be a "six-fecta" of fine-able offenses...and worth every dime!

He'll hand it to the ref, celebrate with his teammates, and walk to the sideline.
Completely agree. The only thing I'd add would be "...walk to the sideline past the Steelers' defenders still on the field."

Throw it at Goodell's head so he can see if ball was deflated.

The first one he tosses against the Colts, he should run over to their sideline and hand it to them just in case they want to measure again.

He won't, but that would be pretty excellent.

I think he should wait and do this for the 6th one he tosses against the Colts.

If applicable, give it to that new Lonnie Paxton guy (Cordona? still familiarizing...) for worlds first ever "Long spike."

Wait wait wait I got it...

Yell "PULL!" and throw it up in the air, and have the musket guys shoot blanks at it.
