Team game...Defense wasn't the reason we were so great last year. So I don't see why that should matter.
I am so over the 19-0 crap. The 2015 Pats could go 8-8 as long as they win the Superbowl. That's all that matters.I think the team can go undefeated only IF Butler emerges as a true number 1 CB, and either Fletcher regains old form or Ryan greatly improves, plus Mayo and Hightower come back 100%, the pass rush lives up to expectations, and almost no one on the team gets hurt all year.
So, pretty unlikely. Could happen though.
What about it? With the way our offense was producing down the stretch, we could have had two homeless guys off the street replace Revis and Browner and we still would have been unstoppable.
I didn't ask for you to inform me about how you spend your Sunday mornings.
No, you didn't. You made a post that will make people question which drugs you were on when you made it.
19-0 would be enjoyable.I am so over the 19-0 crap. The 2015 Pats could go 8-8 as long as they win the Superbowl. That's all that matters.
The "FU Tour". I like it. Sounds like another season that went fairly well. This "19-0" tune is going to grow as tiring as the "what ever will we do about our defense!?" tune from just a few weeks prior. How do we go from incapable to 19-0?
I do expect some giant "FU" games, many more of those than not, but our 2007 FU tour had one of, if not THE best slot receiver to ever play the game and some guy named "Randy Moss", the 2nd all time on receiving touchdown "Randy Moss", the top 2 WR in history "Randy Moss".
This is a great offensive nucleus but its not 2007 good until it proves it, and on paper it doesn't add up.
Still like I said, this team will be great and might be the best in the league again, but 19-0 ...
Yea, I remember a golf story told by his dad that Tom took out displeasure on his clubs. Honestly, I have not really been upset about the ban on games as it gives a look at Jimmy and really pisses off Tom.Brady famously is a terrible loser even at backgammon.
He's not going to accept a "loss" at Deflategate very quietly at all. (And yes, he's been losing so far, just as the Pats commonly lose games early in the regular season.)
This isn't even close to being over.
The number of games Brady has left is limited. Everyone single one he has left is precious. You only get to see the best once, and once they're gone, they're gone.Yea, I remember a golf story told by his dad that Tom took out displeasure on his clubs. This team will have a slot receiver who while not, perhaps, better in a strict sense, is a more clutch player, plus the greatest TE in history. Pretty close to a wash on those grounds. This "19-0" tune is going to grow as tiring as the "what ever will we do about our defense!?" tune from just a few weeks prior. How do we go from incapable to 19-0?

Love the thought, but let's pump the brakes a bit here. Brady's not playing cornerback too.
