Enjoy!

Rodney Harrison: "“You’ve got way over $100 million in the bank. You’ve got a beautiful wife. You’ve got a beautiful family. The natural tendency would be to say, ‘I can lie in my silk sheets and just enjoy life now. I don’t need football.’ But I’m telling you: This is the best thing that could have happened to Tom Brady. This will rejuvenate him. The rest of the league better look out. This year, he’s going to make everybody pay for what’s happened.”

If Brady doesn't get this settled it'll only be a few years from now that he'll have to look his son in the eye and attempt to explain the situation when he one day inevitably asks "why did you cheat Daddy?"

He better be pissed.

"Tom Brady will come out with a newfound defiance in 2015. He is on a mission unlike any other in his football life."

If that doesn't fire you up, nothing will!

Man, every time I hear Harrison talk like he's a human (as opposed to whatever he does on NBC) I wish he was 10 years younger. A pissed off Brady on offense and a pissed off Harrison on defense was a beautiful thing.

More Rodney in the piece:

“Believe me, he’s not saying anything right now, but this is pissing him off, big-time,” says Harrison, who won two Super Bowls with Brady. “He will be supremely motivated this year. I know him. I know how he thinks. And this is going to be very bad for the rest of the league when they play Brady this year.”

F Harrison.

I hear ya.

He's publicly dissed Brady many times in the past. They are not on each others' Christmas card list ever since TC of 2003 when Rodney came in and immediately started headhunting Troy Brown. Brady went after him and there started bad blood.

That makes his quotes on the future so much more weighty than a fanboy's.

Had Bruschi said all this, I would shrug.

I expect 4th Quarter SB49 every game this year. Man on a mission and won't be denied like in the 4th Quarter. 19-0.

This "19-0" tune is going to grow as tiring as the "what ever will we do about our defense!?" tune from just a few weeks prior. How do we go from incapable to 19-0?

I do expect some giant "FU" games, many more of those than not, but our 2007 FU tour had one of, if not THE best slot receiver to ever play the game and some guy named "Randy Moss", the 2nd all time on receiving touchdown "Randy Moss", the top 2 WR in history "Randy Moss".

This is a great offensive nucleus but its not 2007 good until it proves it, and on paper it doesn't add up.

Still like I said, this team will be great and might be the best in the league again, but 19-0 ...

Down the stretch last year, the offense was performing better than the 2007 one. It should be even better this year with the addition of Chandler.

The season will start like this (Tom and the Patriots facing a league that is gunning for them, and is dispatched quickly):

Then, Tom will move on to the league office and finish the job:

19-0 isn't going to happen. This team won't be as good as the 2007, and that team (like every team) needed a good amount of luck to get there.

I'd be happy to settle for 12-4 and a SB repeat.

Brady famously is a terrible loser even at backgammon.

He's not going to accept a "loss" at Deflategate very quietly at all. (And yes, he's been losing so far, just as the Pats commonly lose games early in the regular season.)

This isn't even close to being over.

Right, no 19-0. Because let's tell Brady he can't do something, can't lift the team on his shoulders to overcome any deficiencies.

All I can hear are crusader-esque chants of "Brady wills it!"

I think the team can go undefeated only IF Butler emerges as a true number 1 CB, and either Fletcher regains old form or Ryan greatly improves, plus Mayo and Hightower come back 100%, the pass rush lives up to expectations, and almost no one on the team gets hurt all year.

So, pretty unlikely. Could happen though.
