Peter King on Brady, the tune is changing?

Sheer madness that fuels the egos. Or is it the other way around?

Goodell ain't overturning or reducing anything. mike reiss thinks so and he is almost spot on in his intuition. His gut told him that Connelly was going to retire and it happened.

Reiss may be right....the fact that everyone on both sides agrees Goodell won't overturn means that everyone agrees Goodell is not deciding on the facts reflects on his integrity.

The only reason any of these guys want Brady to take the deal is because they want to be able to call him a cheater and that disappears when he wins in court. None of them give one rats ass about the good of the Patriots and it's laughable for them to pretend they do.

Just spent a few weeks in Canada and heard the same mantra from the Buffalo and Toronto media. Even heard old disproven facts regarding air pressures, timelines etc... If they are going to wreck a guys 15 year career over something, at least they should have enough integrity to get the facts right. I guess it was somewhat understandable in the early days of deflategate when everyone was hooked on the text messages but their is so much information out there which clearly contradicts the Exponent analysis these days but I guess it is what is.

EDIT: To be clear. This is not a post regarding Canada. Only referencing the continued radio mantra I have heard everywhere outside of Mass.

I think the 2 games will be for non-cooperation or in other words not admitting to a crime that did not happen.

I will be waiting for another Brady documentary called "The Brady 0.3".

Oh and while pissed off..........if I hear that ahole mazz spouts off one more time that brady should take his medicine if penalty reduced to a game or two and just end it, I think I am going to request that Caitlyn Jenner pay him a visit and force him to have steamy sex with him.

His name is still Bruce (despite what he WANTS to be called) and he'll always be a man, regardless of how much work he has done on his plumbing, etc.

Why? because of that whole pesky XX/XY Chromosome thingee. Until scientists manage to find a way to sort that out, Bruce is just a human equivalent of those VW Beetles with the Rolls Royce dress-up kit. It might look interesting, but underneath it's still a Volkswagon Beetle.

Wells said the Brady answered all questions and the ONLY incident of non-cooperation was the failure to turn over the phone or the emails. If he is suspected for non-cooperation, that would seem to me to be subject to law suit. If a group (labor union) wishes to bargain away certain rights, they must explicitly do so. The NFL is not entitled to anything it wants without showing to a court why it needs it. Otherwise, the NFL could punish for non-cooperation if someone failed to turn over their personal computer, bank records or medical records.

Stop bringing up Caitlyn Jenner in discussions that have nothing to do with her just so you can throw your damn opinion in. Christ.

King's comment about letting the Pats penalty stand if Brady's is cut is spot on if Brady's is reduced how can the 1M + picks stand?

The comment about waiting and seeing what conditions do to the balls psi is even better.

If the NFL actually documents what conditions do to a football over the course of a season Brady and the team will be totally vindicated. Not sure Goodell would allow that. Would make the persecutation of the Pats/Brady too clear.

OK I really enjoyed that Peter King interview. It had a level of common sense that I have not heard on most radio shows that it nearly brought a tear to my eye. Nearly.

Peter King: 'Tom Brady's stats in home games in which he would have control over the balls and away games when he wouldn't have control over the balls are exactly the same.....so....if the fix was in for home games it surely didn't matter at all'

King said. "If Goodell says, 'I'm putting Tom Brady's sanction down to one game. Then how comfortably could you have the Patriots with this massive sanction, including a first-round draft choice?"

Note: I am not sure who it was but I read this exact same thing on this board about two or three months ago. Whoever that was.....nice job.

Waiting and seeing what conditions do.......is a great way to demonstrate what happens to footballs in cold weather. But I am sure that the Felger and Mazz machine would spin it as "I don't care if weather can deflate footballs.......McNally went into the bathroom..blah blah" and you know the rest of that crap ridden banter.

If you told me tomorrow, "from now on refer to me as Gweddine", I would still read your posts and as long as you're happy with your life, a productive citizen on this planet and not restricting my life, I will not care what you dress yourself up as.

Florio ran a piece on the King interview, brought included a ref to measuring the ball throughout the season. Great idea especially in Nov &Dec, we will even see overinflated balls in Miami in Sept.

Even if the NFL doesn't do official measuring the team, or Brady himself, should have a regulation football brought out and treated to the exact same conditions as the rest every single game and record it.

I don't care about him either. My comments are in response to the post I quoted/responded to.

I have no care about him either way.. What I object to is him getting an ESPY for courage, and feted on all the networks, yadda yadda yadda. Yet for Tim Tebow? Frikkin' crickets. That whole double-standard thing.

Nearly every single effing player in the league is openly Christian, regularly praises god in interviews, and engage in group prayers before and after each and every game at mid field and no one ever says anything, ever, but because one specific guy was called out because he gets maybe a bit too political about it when he's supposed to be talking about football OH NO CHRISTIANS ARE BEING OPPRESSED. Blame ESPN for making everyone sick and tired of Tebow due to their 24/7 wall to wall Tebow coverage when he was a backup QB, not because of his religion.

Okay. I agree with that. Jenner should have never received that award. I didn't hear too much about Tebow sucks though. Things I heard about Tebow mostly entailed the amount of attention he was getting for being a backup QB. I didn't pay close attention to the whole Tebow thing either, to be honest, so I may not have caught all that.
