@AdamSchefter: NFLPA reviewing info to see if there's collusion b/w Broncos-Cowboys on unsettled contracts of Demaryius Thomas/Dez Bryant, per PA official.

Huh? How?

Come on Jerry Jones, step on up and accept your punishment for the better of the league...you know like you told Kraft to do! You too Mr. Elway!

The NFL doesn't care what the PA thinks so nothing will happen.

if the pats were involved, nfl network will provide non stop coverage.
judy battista/albert breer will be sitting outside gilette reporting

im gonna tune in to total access, maybe michael silver will be on the show. i want to hear him explain how air pressure is as serious as domestic violence.

Someone should seriously send a credible tweet with inside info, to some hack, that the patriots are involved with the "collusion" as well.

Something like, NE (maybe BB) wants to keep salaries down to avoid a similar big future payout to Gronk so they are exerting pressure on both teams to hold the line.

@espn A team source in Dallas said when Kraft spoke with Jerry Jones during recent practices, several players overheard a discussion on Thomas and Bryant and how they need to play hardball or end up with a Gronk situation.

or something...

What on Earth is a "Gronk situation", and why is it something a team would want to avoid?

Better strip both teams of their first round picks. This a huge threat to the integrity of the game, or something. Sure, there's no evidence that collusion actually happened, but it might have, or at least some general awareness on some level.

That's okay, ESPN managed to get the Pats into the picture. Literally.

My first guess on what a "gronk situation" is that it's when you get blocked so freaking hard from the mid field into a tv truck 5 yards off the field that you forget your own name. Or it could be 5 guys flying off you like you have an invisible shield. Those two would be my guesses. It can also be called "a Colts Defense situation"

They always do. Like when the Eagles signed "former Patriots QB Tim Tebow". I'm not kidding. Several news outlets said that, and/or had pictures of him in a Pats uniform. What the hell? Sure, he was here last. But he played several seasons for the Broncos and one for the Jets. But didn't even last until the regular season here. That makes him former Broncos/jets QB.

If Kraft told someone they should do something to avoid a Gronk situation, my first thought would be that he was threatening to unleash Gronk upon them and their family. Imagine the terrifying image of Gronk plowing through a wall and proceeding to rag doll husband, wife and children. The horror.

It's been months and everyone is still posting the same bitter and lame deflategate jokes. How many times have threads had a sarcastic "oh, this will end with the patriots losing a pick" comment? its literally the same whining comments over and over for months. Jeez. I'd give up the 2017 first round pick just to get everyone to stop whining and acting like the entire world has a vendetta against us. It sucks, it's over, either learn to enjoy the NFL again or stop watching already. Why are you getting upset over something that is supposed to be entertainment?

Can we for once talk about the actual topic?

For anyone who wants to discuss it – how do you think this happens? And how often? Would both teams agree to not pay the players over a certain amount to try to make them both sign for less?
