@caplannfl: Rod Graves has been named senior vice president of football administration and club services, NFL announced.

@BlogAndTackle: In NFL FB Operations dept, Graves will oversee all club/game-related initiatives related to the Competition Committee, GMs & head coaches.

@caplannfl: Graves spent the past two seasons with the New York Jets as senior director of football administration.

Another Jet in the league office, you don't say..

When you're a Jet you're a Jet all the way …

Loved this comment:

As a long time Cardinal fan, Graves was completely over his head as GM, never proactive, and for the most part seemed completely clueless.

Only reason he stayed GM for so long is because he did a good job of brown nosing Bill Bidwell before Michael finally got enough power to give rid of him.

No idea was the league see in Graves, unless kissing up to Goodell was a main requirement for the job.

Sounds about right for the NFL offices.

This is the most blatant and corrupt use of old boy club hiring that I've seen in a long, long time.

So the NFL management and Board searched the entire world to create a field of candidates, thoroughly reviewed that group, and gradually narrowed it down...and just by chance, another Jet won?

No surprise. Look at the great job the Jets front office has done. Mark Cuban is right the NFL is slowly killing its self. On a side note let the NFL put a team in London if they do they will fall under British law which is much more labor friendly then the US laws,

Oh yeah. This really suggests that Goodell is in a mood to compromise on Brady.

I was just going to ask, is he replacing anyone? Or did they create a position for him?
It's the NFL offices. There's always room for another jet there.

The Jets will go down in flames!!

I seriously think at this point Goodell and his henchman are literally trolling everyone. Their attitude is like "So f***ing what, this is our league and there is nothing you can do about it"

************. Another NY Rat employee. Not a huge surprise but another reason to cancel all things NFL once Brady/BB are gone. Crazy to think Belichick was once a coach of that POS organization but being a smart guy bailed on those corrupt, pathetic bastards.

I'm kind of enjoying this Brady vs NFL storyline. Brady fighting the Authority!

We seem to come out on top quite a bit:

So, what are his Jets ties? :) (I haven't read the whole thread yet. I'm not really joking. :) )
Edit: @caplannfl: Graves spent the past two seasons with the New York Jets as senior director of football administration. post #1. Why am I not surprised?

I was just about to say the same thing. They just rub your nose in it as if to say, " What are ya gonna do about it?" And, as I've written before, they're right. They do whatever they want.

I agree that they can do whatever they want and we appear powerless.

But one thing we can do (that will address their arrogant stance ""What are ya gonna do about it"): Win more SBs.

That should make the ex-Jets run NFL* choke in their putrid vomit.
