OT: JPP serious hand injury due to fireworks??

If you teach your kids to drink responsibly (however you term responsible buzzed acting without sounding like a beer commercial), shouldn't you teach them to not hold the bomb in their hand while the fuse is lit?

This is an interesting point because when i saw these stories mentioned just now it made me wonder why grade schools can't work in a single class on the dangers of fireworks.

they are saying some flesh came off his hand but it's not career threatening.

I'll be the first. When the Giants cut him should we sign him in light of better prosthetics? :)

Rumors that he blew off chunks of a few fingers and missing other parts of flesh.

Could be career ending. The rest of your post certainly isn't needed when it comes to this.

Edit: He also never signed his franchise tag as twitter reminds.
Is he switching to receiver?

How would a hand injury end the career of a D lineman?

I'm with you. I'll start feeling sorry for other teams' problems when their fans start feeling sorry for my team's problems. This isn't a case of someone contracting a fatal disease or some other sad case. This nitwit engaged in irresponsible behavior. Tough sh##. I'm sure there are millions of New Jersey Giant fans who would feel sorry for a Patriot in the same situation.

Consider also that the Pats' problems have been CAUSED by other teams.

Why couldn't it have been Suggs :(
He's not bright enough to read the directions. Evidently, neither was the New Jersey dope.

it depends on the severity of the hand injury, obviously. if it's bad you can't bull rush or speed rush and even if you do get to the QB you might have difficulty sacking him.

This matters, for the record, because it means that his franchise tag can be pulled, which would make him a free agent.

An interesting question will be what happens if he tries to sign it now.

Lineman have played with casted clubs before.

How would a stub be any different

That's just temporary and it hurts their performance.
I doubt you'd cut your star lineman cuz his hand's a club for a couple weeks.

There is a really tasteless joke to be made...but I will resist, I'm sure the blanks can be filled

Somewhere the negative eugenicists are rejoicing.

Somewhere, Steve DeOssie is weeping ...

Imagine how much grief his wife is giving him...

Still not feeling sorry for him :D

EDIT: I do hope he's ok, but the comment was about feeling the heat from the wife.
