Benoit Feels Brady is the Best among QB's

Well he'd either be an idiot or show that he is anti-Pats if he didn't think he was at least top 2 especially after Brady's playoff performance.

Speaking of playoff performance Rodgers becoming a bit of a Peyton Manning, yes? Good thing for him he got that 1 in '10. But it's been 4 years since he's been to a SB, longest Brady went without a SB appearance is 2. Hell Brady's been to 2 SBs since Rodgers only 1.

Best passer of the ball? ya.

Best QB? nope.

"But Rodgers plays in the NFC" So? If he is supposedly the best QB he doesn't get the luxury of "But", Brady sure as hell has never gotten it.

I've been saying that about Rodgers since last year. He has been accumulating stats in the regular season, but hasn't done much in the postseason since his SB victory in 2010.

I think it's interesting a lot people (Benoit included based on what he writes here) think Russell Wilson is a system QB.

Not sure I agree but it's interesting.

I would rank Wilson higher than Manning, Romo, or Rivers.

And when I say Manning, I mean Peyton.

Lol benoit hit the bullseye on brady but he apparently tweeted something that was pissing somebody off

Haven't watched that yet

Russell Wilson is drastically overrated.

Rodgers' playoffs
'09- One and Done
'10- 4-0 SB
'11- One and Done (#1 seed)
'12- 1-1 (The win was against the Joe Webb QB'd Vikings)
'13- One and Done
'14- 1-1

Overall Record 6-5
Since winning the SB 2-4

Tom has had only 2 One and Done playoff appearances and it happened during the rebuilding period of '09 and '10.

You gave him an extra win. His overall record is actually 6-5.

I probably don't put him ahead of Rivers or Romo, but I do put Wilson ahead of both Mannings and Flacco.

Speaking of which, Peyton ahead of Roethlisberger is insane.

Why doesn't Aaron Rodgers get more criticism for post season failures? The "most talented" according to the same media fanboys who once worshiped the "ole gunslinger" Favre too often gets a free pass in my book. Brady has advanced in the postseason with lesser receivers and worse secondaries yet if TB loses two of his six SuperBowls, he's immediately taken off the list of greatest (by some). One Green Bay victory solidified Rodgers as the "most talented" with no room for criticism. The romanticism of the Frozen Tundra is a very powerful force. Has the word "failure" ever been attached to Rodgers? MVPs, monster stats, one ring.

In my opinion Brady and Rodgers are the only true elite QBs in the league right now. For me elite is a level where a player is playing at an very high level, not just compared to current players, but also comparing to past players.

Peyton and Brees has both been there, but declined from there. I think Brees could return to that level. But I very much doubt that Peyton can because his very steep decline in arm strength. He can still throw a beautifuly arched long ball on fades. But he just doesn't have that fast ball anymore.

Luck has the tools to get there. But he makes to many bad decisions right now. He makes too many really risky throws that gets intercepted, or close to it, instead of just taking a sack.

Wilson on 3rd down - 2 td to 4 picks
Cam - 5 td 6 picks 70 qbr

he is only 6-4 in the playoffs lifetime.

He is still a fantastic QB and I wouldn't take anyone over him except....Tom Brady.

I have to disagree here. I think Wilson is a fantastic QB....his comeback in the NFCCG was epic. No QB has more wins in his first 3 years than Wilson.

I interpret system QB is a winning QB where the writer doesn't understand why they are successful. Not saying wilson is the greatest and as long as he tries to make improvements he'll get better.

But, he's one of the few mobile QBs that seems to understand when to "not" get hit. That gives him the longevity edge.
