Deus in this case you should just admit you were wrong about Collins, laugh about it, and move along. It was a minor point. Your original post was spot on. That game sucked.

What would I be admitting? Did the team's greater need for a safety somehow disappear? No.

My issue with Collins wasn't him as a player, and I noted that. Hell, I noted the option of simply trading for another pick in order to get him, if he was wanted that badly.

I know that's not what the ankle biters would have you believe, though, so whatever floats people's boats.

For the record, something I did get wrong was LaFell's ceiling (observation #13). I thought his ceiling was as a WR3. I got that wrong. He's capable of being a WR2, at least in the right system.

lol you never give up...

That team was the culmination of all if Belichicks mistakes........nuff said ...........

What a terrible GM, the game has passed Belichick by........macDaniels and Patricia suck. What a terrible season......

I DONT CARE I CANT STAND IT ANYMORE!!!!

lol you never give up...

I've got a group of ankle biters who like to lie about things they claim I've said. I simply noted the truth of it. I acknowledged being wrong about LaFell, which you hadn't even brought up, so I don't see what your issue here would be.

And with that, I'm off to finish the prep for tomorrow.

Swearinger: Bust (Cut 2 years before rookie deal was up)
Elam: Bust (Even Ozzie Newsome says he has been a bust)
Cyprien: Bust
Wouldn't call Cyprien a bust but point remains the same.

Yeah, hence "busting" not busted

I can't speak for others, but I know I haven't.

Better question, does a troll ever admit to being nothing........?
you have never admitted to being wrong about something?.....that is very telling......and not in a good way

a lot of my stuff is tongue in cheek, i.e., trolling as you call it

but i think i bring a unique type of humor by making myself a jackass that people can take shots at

not unique...eunuch perhaps...and watch which cheek you stick that tongue into...could get a morals clause violation on your already spotty profile.

You're that bald guy

A lot of Jags fans seem to think he has been so far.
This last year he struggled but showed a lot of potential his rookie season. I'll give him a chance yet.

Oh I'm gonna go back and dislike one of your old posts because you disliked my post! I'll show you!

You know who you are. Tsk tsk.

Yeah, sometimes you're just wrong in your evaluation of a player, particularly a young one. I thought Swearinger was going to be a good NFL safety, and was bummed that we didn't pick him.

Shows what I know. I don't feel too bad about it though, even the guys who do this stuff for a living miss as often as they hit. So nobody should be surprised when anyone is wrong, or even wrong repeatedly. At worst, your guessing accuracy will still be on par with a handful of NFL FOs.

I was confident that Elam was going to suck, though. That one was so clear to me that I found it really surprising that my opinion wasn't the consensus.

I'm so glad that this thread has come back to life. Deus Irae was so obsessed with Logan Mankins being a Tampa Bay Buccaneer that he completely whiffed on Malcolm Butler, who everyone knew would make the decisive play in the Super Bowl.

July sucks.

Someone needs to resurrect the thread I started about Chad Jackson being a Bust. Took lots of flak.
The old Matt Cassel threads are entertaining ...
a few members here defending Cassel when a writer or two said he sucked.

I didn't like the Mankins trade either
Butler's play wasn't just decisive. It was the greatest defensive play in NFL history.
This has been a great six months.
Seems like yesterday that the Pats made the NFL weep.
