Now the source this article takes from is from former NFL safety Matt Bowen, and while he may be Bleacher Report, I thought he had a good insight.

I'm really hyped to see what this kid can do. He has sky high potential.

But but Collins is still a bad pick because Pats could have had DJ Swearinger (cut before rookie deal was up) or Matt Elam (Ozzie Newsome has come out and said Elam has basically been a bust so far) to make up for the Wilson pick the year before.

He was a terrible pick, haven't you paying attention??? Dion Jordan has been destroying the league ever since he was selected 3rd overall by the Dolphins...

Collins is what I expected of Mayo when we drafted him 10 overall. Please God, let the trio of Mayo, Hightower and Collins be healthy all year. Our delayed blitzes will be awesome.

Does anyone know if Mayo was on the field on the voluntary workouts?

I personally think if these three stay healthy that it is the best 4-3 LB core in the league. (Best in the league in general if healthy aside from Baltimore and maybe KC who both run 3-4)

Whoa, easy. Dat hindsight doe. (At the time I did think the TYPE of player they were drafting made sense in the modern league and had no problem with the pick).

The article says Hightower & Collins were 1/2 in the league among ILBs in QB hurries.

Interesting, although I have to wonder how they decide who is and isn't an ILB ...

One thing for sure is when they rushed the passer they were dy-no-mite! Especially Collins!

I just hope that Collins has a better 2015 than he had a 2014 Super Bowl.

There is a video out there of him doing a windmill dunk and his head come dangerously close to hitting the rim.

I'm telling you guys.

We have a defensive Gronk on our hands. A freak of nature. I'm surprised more people around here aren't raving about this guy. For the most part people just pile on how some people around here declared him as a wasted pick when it first happened.

Let's just be happy we have this guy on our team.
