Either you're having a bad day, or you don't quite get what Cowherd (and EOM) was getting at. Cowherd wasn't suggesting anything negative about the Big Ten. Cowher's comments implied that the big ten was "on the rise". He simply used a poor choice of words.

I appreciate the elaboration, but I don't think you're understanding the point of my comment.

No matter what Cowherd's phrasing or intent was, Harbaugh shouldn't have felt slighted or the need to be on the defense. That was my one and only point.

And for the record--Cowherd hasn't held back on his belief that the conference is weak in the past, so "poor words" or not, he's brought it up plenty.

Cowherd may be good at ratings, but he's not skilled at getting anyone to open up. The first question Harbaugh was posed was (paraphrasing) when do u think to yourself you're a cupcake?

Would you open an interview with the pope asking when he's satanic?

Then he has a salty harbaugh who is irritated and doesn't want to talk and he asks if the big ten is a buy. It's just a poor question. Jim Harbaugh isn't a great interview and Cowterd is an idiot troll. Meanwhile, Michigan picked up another top recruit this weekend.
