Antonio Gates Caught Cheating

Now I know this isn't something as important as an equipment violation (and by "equipment violation" I mean "equipment obeying the laws of physics") but I thought it was worth mentioning Antonio Gates got 4 games for performance enhancing substances.

They'd impose a permanent NFL ban on him and declare him ineligible for the HOF, and would vacate all 4 SB victories.

More importantly, all the Lombardi's would be awarded to the NY Jets, because they definitely would've won the division, and then the Super Bowl, every one of those years if not for cheatin' Brady.

Exactly what I was thinking. At least an unprecedented season long ban. Just because it is Brady and the Pats.

Wow, the penalty for putting something in your body (illegal drugs) is the same as taking something legal(air) out of a body. Obviously, the NFL wants EVERYTHING to be a parity....

It might not be cheating. It might be that he just used a supplement tha....... I can't even try.

To be honest it may not be a huge deal or impacted his quality as a player. Maybe it was just very recently. Do we know exactly what it was?

Either way I'm having fun pretending all these stars are forever tarnished like they did Brady for a load of BS.

No excuses. He violated our trust and tarnish the integrity of the games. I don't want your facts I just want him to admit it. His career is tarnish. How long have the Chargers been doing this? Maybe they don't beat Peyton twice in the playoffs. They kept him from winning two more and achieving GOAT status. Gates should be ashamed. NFL has to come down harder. Erase him from the history books like Hernandez and kick him out of the league.

Supposedly all these suspensions are post-appeal.

If the Patriots weren't deflating their footballs by .3 to .4 psi and creating an unfair competitive imbalance, Gates would never have been forced to take PEDs..

Of course the NFL dumps all of these suspensions before a long weekend. They don't want to draw attention to this stuff.

Just makes it all the more obvious that everything re: deflategate was one giant dog and pony show designed to cause maximum media exposure.

As well they should be. They're the root of all CHEATING all through the universe. If you think their CHEATING has been confined to this solar system, you're kidding yourself. They're CHEATERS!!!

I think most of the players use PEDs in some form. Can't be that humans evolved naturally into these beasts we see today.

Ever since the 1988 Olympic games, I suspect them all.

Ha! The cool thing that's happened to me is that I can no longer get "all riled up" about any of this stuff....and that includes deflategate. I'm still interested, but it no longer effects me emotionally.

Guess that's what happens when you read about a topic everyday for 6 months!
