The violator can say it was whatever they want. Adderrall, pot, whatever. The NFL rarely says what it really was and doesn't typically fight the player when they lie about it.

It's just so tragic. Why do the Jets always cheat? Why do they feel that they can get away with this stuff? Without honor and integrity, there really is nothing. As a fan, I would much rather lose with integrity than lose as a cheater. But now the Jets have nothing. They cheat, and lose. And cheat. That's all the Jets are to me now, a bunch of cheaters. Just cheating cheaters who cheat. Cheat cheat cheat. Such a sad, tragic, catastrophic day. Cheaters.

Is the Omissioner generally aware that Richardson cheats for the Rats?

Maybe they can go back and have the Rats investigate themselves to see if the punishment is warranted.

Likely they'll discover that the Pats do it too.

Breer reporting Packers DL Datone Jones suspended one game in addition to these guys being suspended four games. So that's 4 guys so far today, from 4 other teams, suspended, for violating the substance abuse policy.

But the Pats are CHEATERS!!!!

EDIT: Jones actually serving 1 game suspension... fixed. Also changed to reflect 4 guys being suspended.

Damn, 4 teams now! But let's all have some perspective people - this isn't anything nearly as egregious as maybe taking 0.3 PSI out of a football depending on if you can remember which gauge you used to measure it.
