ESPN wants Olbermann to be nice to Fuhrer Goodell

Don't care about Olbermann. He wanted Brady suspended for a whole year!

Wouldn't shed a tear if he lost his job, even if it is for the wrong reason.

They should throw Olbermann and Goodell into a locked room with two spears and let them fight to the death. After the victor comes out on top, they should put a hungry lion into said locked room with the victor.

Two of my least favorite people in the entire universe. Olbermann is a pompous ass who talks down to people so much that when I agree with him on something, he forces me to rethink my position. Goodell is also a pompous ass who won't stop until he destroys the NFL just to show he has the ultimate power.

Oh look, a self-indulgent blowhard is being neutered by a self-serving corporate network because their dictatorial, power-hungry partner doesn't like when people are allowed to speak bad words about them.

They can all go to hell. Every one of them, on their own, are among the worst (if not the worst) representative of what our commentary/media/sports culture has become. Throw in FIFA, the NCAA, Felger and Volin and you have a hell of a collection of everything that's wrong with sports these days.

Olbermann's self righteous sanctimony gets wearisome at times. Being right about Goodell does not change that, especially considering how he has been piling on Brady these past couple months.

So what came first the chicken or the egg?

Is Roger asking ESPN to can it?

Or is ESPN just that afraid of him?

Jerry. Jerry. Jerry

Olbermann is funny, and his politics are pretty liberal. Also, his grammar and spelling are generally correct, and he's fairly courageous (in the business/public speech arena).

I believe that to be an exhaustively complete listing of his virtues.

Not sure those are all virtues, nor are they all objective , but rather, some are quite subjective judgements. After editing to remove those:

Olbermann is.

I believe that to be an exhaustively complete listing of his virtues.

My hatred of censorship is in serious conflict with my disdain towards Olbermann. Sadly, my hatred for censorship wins. So, to ESPN, I, with many regrets, reservations, and footnotes, say...

Leave Keith alone!

Not a big Olbermann fan, but more dirt on Goodell, ESPN, shady back room deals, cover-ups, media manipulation and other shenanigans can't but help NE's psigate cause. Might even make a journalist or two curious or angry enough to dig to a whole new level of investigation.

What did the lion ever do to you to deserve that???

Olbermann is a sanctimonious a hole but I will take help from anyone who wants to tear down the league office. The more dirt on Goodell and Kenssil et al the better.

Well, almost time to stop watching ESPN (on top the NYJFL Network which I already gave up).

The question is: do I buy "America's Game - The 2014 Patriots"? Feeling conflicted.
