Deflategate scenario out of left field

My early conspiracy theory was Goodell helping Kraft to move Brady a year or two early with a trumped up scandal but the draft picks would not fit that theory and they would have to have a lot of confidence in
Jimmy g?

The only thing that makes sense as a motive for all of this, is the league mandate for parity.

Parity by any means. That is why Kraft mentions ' the good of the 32' - its not even that cryptic if you think about it.

The NFL is a hugely profitable business and i'm sure they'd like it to stay that way.

To be honest, I do wonder why the league has gone about this in such a clownish manner - lets be real here, there are much simpler and more convincing ways to frame a team for 'cheating' than what actually conspired.

Perhaps they decided that an ongoing 'investigation' would allow the NFL to dominate the sports headlines for months - its not unfeasible at all.

Do remember that people in general are susceptible to brainwashing by all sorts of media - factor in the zealotry that being a sports fan adds, multiply it by a factor of 100 (for everyone who wants the goddamn Patriots to just go away and let them win something) and you have the perfect petri dish for this type of 'social experiment' ie testing the boundaries of exactly what level of delusion people can manifest.

the Pats have won their division 12 of the last 14 years, think about that, in a league that loves "parity", in the last 14 years, one team has won 4 Super Bowls, 6 conference Championships, anD 2 "AFC Finalists" banners.

BB doesn't talk to the media, neither does Brady, I think the Seahawks players and fans probably have a point about why they threw the ball at the goal line (because Seattle and the NFL wanted Wilson to be the hero and not Lynch ( who is butt nut crazy BTW).

So you have all this jealousy from other teams and the NFL front office. that is why we have this fiasco now. Hopefully Brady sues them all for defamation and all the BS comes out in discovery.

Lynch seems pretty affable when hes not being forced to do something, like a trained pet.
