Seriously if text messages are the only thing that the NFL is holding as "Evidence" then we really know by now how this is all going to end.

Yep, I blame the local media for most of it too. Had a few of these morons gone on national TV and defended the Pats instead of crucifying them this would be nothing. This I why the change.org petition that has started is so vital. Its not about the Pats for me really. It's about the rampant corruption at the high levels of the NFL.

Text messages that say nothing. It just proves how corrupt it really is. Get that petition going strong and maybe, just maybe we can kick start a "regime" change.

Because the prevailing logic is that science can be manipulated.

If you wish hard enough and sprinkle a little pixie dust, dreams can come true.

You know what is even better than a text message, a signed letter from the NFL with fake information so that the Patriots would be distracted from preparing for the Super Bowl. Gee I wonder how difficult that would be to find.

I hate this strong-arm crap....if you sue us, we won't knock down the trumped-up charges that aren't based on facts anyway.

There was a moment there (it might have been when the girl on tv was chasing Butler around) when I came out of my euphoria enough to start thinking of all of the hapless haters out there. Imagine how it crushed them at the exact moment that The Butler Did It? As Jackie Gleason used to say, how sweet it is.

This malfeasance by the Commissioner's Office is an OPEN AND SHUT CASE to prove in the courts.

It all comes down to that.

Brady will win a court case in a cakewalk if he puts the NFL headquarters on the stand and asks them why they CONSCIOUSLY propogated false data to the public via Mortenson and to the Patriots via the Gardi letter - - and why they never clarified the error as it was being trumpted all over the nation and the world until the Wells letter came out 4 months later.

A cakewalk.
