When people advocate a position like this, they're really just giving you insight into their own character.

A few years ago, Bob George wrote in one of his columns that Ron Borges was a writer he looked up to. Ever since Bob has been a Borges wannabe sans knowledge, insight or writing talent. I've never seen a failed experiment hang on so stubbornly.

A more appropriate poker analogy: he's already all in. Why on earth would anyone fold when they're already all in? At that point, even if you think you have a losing hand you still put your cards down on the table and see what happens.

The worst case scenario--that the NFL brands him a cheater, and that becomes the narrative on his career--has already happened. There's nothing at all to lose by continuing to fight this.

If he (Kraft) thinks the other 31 care about him, he is sorely mistaken.....Perhaps he has "jumped the shark" as owner and it's time to step aside....
