Time For Brady To Capitulate And Move On

But Kraft considers Brady like a son.

Kraft is full of **** ... if my son's integrity is being questioned in a hearing, there's no way I'm just writing an affadavit, NO WAY! Once he knew about the hearing, Kraft should've changed his travel plans and gone the distance for Brady ... that's the least you could do for the man responsible for the very success of your franchise!

Why is this hack allowed to post this garbage? It's one thing having Volin on the forum twitter feed, but this is a whole new level of stupid.

It's actually shocking to me, the lack of 1) legal knowledge, 2) knowledge specific to this case, and 3) logical reasoning being displayed in this article. In each instance there are glaring issues with this article, kinda sad to see on Patsfans when there are so many good posters providing both content and links to what are real facts around this case and this is the best the site could come up with.

I think the best I can do for good ole' Bob George here is: you seem hella qualified to take over for Lester Munson once he inevitably screws something up so bad that ESPN has to fire him.

Please move your sarcasm detector to the on position.

I usually enjoy Bob's columns. I did not enjoy this one. Why wouldn't Tom fight this in court? He has nothing left to prove. 4 Super Bowl wins in 6 appearances. He doesn't have to play another down in the league to prove how great he is.

I think the only way he backs off is if the NFLPA tells him to. Kraft doesn't have a say at this point.

Bob George can almost always be relied upon to post inanity or stupidity. This time it's pure stupidity.
I don't object to Ian posting his mindless drivel. I never fear opposing viewpoints. Too bad this was not well reasoned.

Were BG willing and able to Get A Clue, he should read the many thoughtful posts here in the Forum.

+1...And if I'm Brady who has gone way beyond other QBs in terms of team friendly contracts, I tell ownership to stuff it the next time they ask anything of me....When the day comes that he asks for a trade ( and until BK capitulated I would never have thought that) and he will, the Krafts' will be the only ones taken aback and shocked.....
Dr. King once said the true measure of a man is not how he responds in times of convenience, but in times of crises... Well Mr. Kraft, yesterday solidified how you responded in this crisis. You chose your ownership brethren, the ones with drug problems, team names that are racist and at least two that have lost civil judgments for fraud in the tens of millions of dollars for cheating people... If you are judged by the company you keep......
He should have been there in person or at least testified by Skype....no excuses. Israel is 7 hours ahead. When the appeal started, it was 5:30 in the evening there, plenty of time to lend support in real time....

Love the MLK quote.
But I disagree with the last paragraph. Team Brady did not need half-hearted support from Kraft whose loyalties lie elsewhere. Most importantly, Krafts meandering, incoherent, cogent point free rambling statements would have wasted valuable time best spent kicking Wells' ass.

Bob still thinks we went 6-10 last year so he may not actually know about those 4 SBs

I guess he was out day they did random drug testing.

Thats why I stopped reading his stuff. Just creates more sludge in my brain and there is plenty there already.

I couldn't decide if I wanted to use the Funny or the dislike. They were both appropriate but I used the dislike.

Unless he clarifies this badly worded argument, Bob George = Switzerland

Bob George writes in the end that Brady MAY be totally innocent.......

Well, if Brady knows he is totally innocent, why do something so morally repugnant as to drop the fight?

What is right is right. Going along to get along despite knowing you are innocent is a TERRIBLE thing to espouse to others.

I would respect Bob George more if he wrote that he believes Brady is guilty and should do the right thing and give up.

But to write that he may be totally innocent and that he must accept this wrong is morally repugnant and shameful. Bob George should have the opportunity to clarify this column, because many people who are reading it can come to some pretty strong conclusions about the moral compass of someone who would write such a thing.
