Source: Brady's testimony "not entirely credible"

Per a league source....apparently...

This sounds like fabricated news, I don't believe in a word of this article.

Schefter: Brady offered an explanation to everything per source

Florio: Per a league source, Brady simply reiterated his denial regarding any involvement in or knowledge of whatever it was that John Jastremski and Jim McNally may have been doing with the team’s footballs.

Direct contradiction of Schefter's report.....was this a trap laid by Brady's camp???

Wonder if Wells was under oath, my guess is no.

This is stupid in homeric proportions. If the science says nothing happened (and it does), it does not make any difference if McNally and Jaz texted that they were going to flatten every ball in the league. Nothing happened. No offense occurred. This all stems from some grievance-mongering football meatheads in over their depth on trivial HS science and a herd of gossip-mongering sports "journalists" who make the football meatheads look like Einsteins.
Bingo!

Look Mr Brady, we know you did something to the balls so this constant denying it is just going to make things tougher on all of us.

Just tell us the degree of your involvement and we can all go home and get on with our lives.

That was my thought...although it seems like a risky way to go about it given that this is a response to an apparent violation of the gag order on their side.

this crap just makes me angrier every time. How corrupt is the nfl league office ? 12 hr testimony and he just reiterated what he said ? Okay what did wells say to all the things brady's counsel asked ? of course there is leak of that or how credible wells sounded.

Unsure of this reply...

The question then becomes whether the NFL is willing to throw out the entire Wells report based on the flaws in the science (and the science is definitely flawed), or whether the NFL continues to be troubled by the Jastremski-McNally exchanges and Brady’s answers to questions about his interactions with either or both of them.

If the science can't prove guilt then why are we even here?

o_O

Yeah I was waiting for the other shoe to drop and the anti-Brady leaks to begin. Fu.ck the NFL.

"Reports" like the one from "source not there to protect Brady" are only put out to help feed the media idiots such as Mort, ESPN and our lovely local unbiased mediots. They will latch on like a tic and suck that story dry. It will repeated and repeated and used as a straw man crutch to criticize and dismiss any counter argument.

Never mind the facts don't back them up. No one should ever accept that a) they will get punished even of the proof isn't there and b) they are coming down hard regardless due to prior mistakes. Each of those are incredibly asnine statements that should make any sane person stop in their track and say, hold on something isn't right here.

I call BS on this leak and this source for the same reasons as others mentioned.

The NFL "sources" lied yesterday, lied about 11 of 12 and so on. What's leaking another lie?

Absolutely. If the balls aren't deflated, Tom is under no obligation to explain anything McNally or JJ said. None. Zero.

In fact, I'll go further and say that you think Tom's responses to those queries are ********. You still aren't justified in levying punishment if you can't prove the balls were actually deflated.

and the soap opera continues...

can't wait for mort's report!

The argument will/would be that the science doesn't prove that the balls weren't deflated, and the other 'evidence' is sufficient.

So if Brady claimed that he has no knowledge of Jastremski and/or McNally deflating footballs when he was interviewed by Wells, what new information is Brady going to offer in this proceedings? If Brady truly has no knowledge, what more can he offer. What a slanted report.

This reports confirms though that Goodell is going to be more likely to increase the punishment to 8 games than reduce it to 0 games. Based on this report, I am betting money that Goodell upholds the 4 game suspension because we know it is coming from his office.
