Mike-

You're a little late to this party, but welcome to the club they like to call "journalism".
He is doing a good job, ESPN does not want to touch this. With the exception of Washington Post, nobody else is touching this. Florio has a good following and it is getting some traction. The collective intelligence of America is worrying though.

No
Wait, is Mort really going to be on F&M? Oh jesus thats going to be bad

No I was joking. Half asleep and I thought, what Boston media would ask the tough questions? And I knew it was F&M.

Then I woke up. Lol.

"it's still not clear what they did"

This should actually read: "It's still not clear if they even did anything"

People are so dumb just argued with a giants fan about this. People aren't interested in facts lol.

Actually, it should read "It's clear that they did nothing."

The Patriots may have deflated balls at some point in the past or during the season. However, it is clear that they did not deflate the balls in the AFC Championship game.

You answered your own question, the NYFL was probably pissed the Pats were in the super bowl and acted like 4 year olds that had their binky taken away, problem is these are grown men in position of power abusing it. These are the guys BK has a problem with, not sure what he and the ommissioner talked about that night they hugged but I would love to have been a fly on the wall.

I don't know, if I had been a fly on the wall I'd have felt the need for a shower after that, and that's pretty bad coming from a friggin' fly!

And who said the tide wasn't turning?

It's still not... if someone leaves a fact out in the woods and no one is there to see it, then the lie is still being perpetrated

The national news isn't running with this story, espn isn't running with it, nfl network isn't running with it, nfl.Com isn't running with it...

Every single article that does come out is ignored by all of the fanbases forums that Ive visited over the last 10 years

Colts fans are like a cult over there... they just repeat "what about the deflator text and why was McNally suspended!?!?! Obviously guilty!!" while they throw a tantrum and ask for another baby bottle of warm breast milk while they **** their diaper

When I listen to the NFL network this AM, not one word about the balls being at expected PSI ranges. It is like nobody wants to touch that fact.

Nope. They can't. It would have to be a 6 month retraction. They don't do that.

Point is, jobs should be lost. That's the other event that should happen.

It sounds like it's extremely unlikely that no matter what happens with Brady, the NFL won't give back the draft picks.

And if Brady is exonerated, it's going to be maddening to know that goodell stole draft picks from the Patriots for no reason other than "because he could"

This is way way beyond simple PSI in footballs at this point.

The simple fact to all of this is the NFL is tired of seeing the Pats be soo successful in the last 12 years

They developed a plan to frame and punish the Pats because of that fact.

The media fell onto themselves and pushed out every leak they got from the NFL front office

then.....

the Pats won the SB

this just pissed off the 31 other teams and owners so they wanted to set a precedent to the best team in the league by fining them the highest amount possible, loosing draft picks, and taking a **** on Tom Brady

I put it on for 5min. It was the roundtable w/ Wyche, Burelson, Baldinger, etc...

Wyche starts out the segment with, "Tom Brady got a second chance to prove his innocence yesterday."...

My issue: he never had a first chance.

ESPN spreading new lies, said TB didn't want to come in and talk to TW or turn his phone over his phone. idiots, I now remember why I haven't turned the dial to that channel for years.

My assumption is that the only thing we'll hear from Mort is when either he or his phone records reveal his "11/12 balls" source in court, and then nothing ever again. And you know, I'd be okay with it playing out like that. I'm much more concerned about who told him that than what he did after he was told it.

Yea i'd handicap the Pats getting their picks back at 1000 to 1

I just cannot buy into this conspiracy theory that the NFL is out to get the Patriots in order to create more parity in the league.

What could make more parity then to get rid of the team and kills it?

Florio is doing a great job with these articles!. The Pats were done wrong. I'm glad someone has the guts to point all of this out.

He's been banging the drum all along that the whole media storm started with Mortenson's INCORRECT report. Mortenson and espn still have not said anything about it. What a joke.

Florio started off as a member of the pitchfork brigade. He switched after the damage had already been done.
