Official Brady Appeal Thread: D-Day Tuesday June 23rd

Tom Brady hates having to go out of the game and give the backup QB the final kneel down in a blowout. You think he's gonna be just fine with allowing Jimmy, a guy who is gunning to take his job, to play in the season opening game against one of our arch rivals? On banner night of all nights? Please. Brady will be 38. He knows at this point in his career every single week is a tryout to keep his job. I wouldn't be surprised if he's in a total "fuc.k Jimmy, he's not getting one single snap if I have anything to say about it" mode.
I have no doubt that this thought or emotion is in Brady. He's holding on to that job with every fiber of his body.

And it gets worse, I'm now hearing Brady v was genuine and was giving explanations. WHO THE F.CK does he think he is. He is ruining a perfectly good narrative with this idiotic truth crap. I had so much more respect for him when he was eating sh.t quietly.
I just knew he was going to kick absolute ass yesterday. TB is just one of those people that can handle any situation with grace and assertiveness and when given time to prepare- dominate.

As I turned on the local news this morning, there was a picture of Tom Brady with the newscaster just finishing "....and if they don't cut it down to one game it will go to federal court." <smh> I wish media would stop extrapolating facts from drivel.

So I guess Troy Vincent was one of the witnesses called forth by Brady's team. I hadn't heard about that till now. Hopefully they grilled that ****y jerkwad after his condescending letter to a player and person so far above him that it is embarrassing.

FYI: Ignore the ridiculous comment of a Fishy fan at the end of the article, should you choose to read it. Not much new otherwise:

Maybe it's a quibble, but aren't those guys supposed to be professional writers?

Several commuters stopped to take in the atmosphere. So did a few Patriots supporters, one of which held a sign that read "FREE BRADY

This is NOT a criminal trial, bradys not putting his freedom on the line.
I am not a lawyer, but McCann indicates there are legal consequences. In addition, he demonstrated that he is willing to testify in court that he did nothing wrong. Not that Goodell cares.
What does it mean that Brady testified under oath? This was significant because Brady was "putting his actual freedom on the line in arguing the NFL got it wrong." Specifically, as noted by Michael McCann, Brady "could face criminal charges for perjury if it is later proven (by a prosecutor, not Goodell) that he knowingly lied. At the same time, Brady sends a powerful message that he’s willing to risk criminal charges to prove that he is innocent of the allegations."

That's disgraceful, doesn't he realize how much he owes them. Brady would be nothing without Felger, Borges, Volin, Shaugnessy, Breer, Mortenson, Clayton, and the rest of the media who have been there for him and supported him in good times and even the bad times. There's only one explanation he's guilty, and not simply of ball molestation but of throwing ten of the last fourteen seasons. Felger should ban him for life.

F.ck you Tom Brady. Rat Bastard!

Hopefully we will get to watch two guys do this in the post game......

Brady would not have done that had his council (Yee, Kessler, etc) not felt comfortable with the evidence (or lack thereof) in front of them.

You can bet you bottom dollar that Yee and Kessler know exactly what is and isn't on Brady's phone. The only thing that got them in a tizzy was a text from Gisele telling TB she just put the kids to bed and was waiting for him to come home.

Tunes into NFL Radio for 5 minutes, should have known better. Some caller Paul was defending the Pats, Bob Papa and Ross Tucker jsut kept going on and on about the text messages. They think that since the two guys joked about the ball "being like a rugby ball next time" it means they know all about the deflating. AND, Ross Tucker had the actual nerve to say "It's scary that our society has intelligent people that can be so influenced by fandom". Um, Ross, have you heard the UTTER ******** that has been going on for the last 5 months? Don't freaking lecture a Patriots fan about fandom influencing anything.

The earth is flat and only 5800 years old.

I just pray the firmament doesn't break again. Got a little too wet around these parts last time.

PLEASE TAKE BORGES OFF THE NEWS FEED FOR THE LOVE OF GOD

Even after today he is still saying that Brady wont take this to court because he doesn't want to give up his phone...

C'mon, it's just what someone else was writi, er, thinki, ah, .....forget it.

I love how the letter states that "Because the player has the burden, he will present first and have the majority of the allotted time."

Nice. We've had a top flight hired gun conduct an investigation with no limits on time or budget, and no opportunity to examine, question or contest the evidence, inferences, assumptions or findings of what amounts to a spectacularly one-sided witch hunt. The burden of proof is then placed on "the player" who is given four hours (and a possible bonus hour) to present his side.

Wow. Is this taking place in China or Iraq?

Nicely summarized.. its mind blowing how this has all unfolded, you'd think you were reading it out of a history book from the dark ages or something

Truly a spectacle, which is most likely what the nfl and media wanted to keep ratings flourishing during the slowest part of the football year

That's OK, Brady will ask for another appeal and the NFL will be guilty of not cooperating if they don't grant it. They will also ask for Kensil's phone and he will be guilty of leaking if he refuses to hand it over.

Man, things are really looking up........ ............

My finding is that Roger Goodell was generally aware of Kensil's frame job, I sentence him to twenty years back in the Jets front office.

That is draconian level cruel and unusual punishment

If you didn't turn over your cellphone during The Inquisitions they boiled you alive. Apparently Kensil was all set up to go that routebut cooler heads prevailed.

If you allow yourself to believe the starting point begins with incompetent morons, what has eventuated isn't particularly surprising. Naturally, they'll tell you it's a concocted ratings bonanza but let's face it, nobody in Town Hall is smart enough to plan and execute Deflategate.

This post would have been a bit less ironic had you used the word "their" correctly. :D

I still don't buy it. If i remember correctly mccann has said a number of things in the past that were repudiated. And he works for bspn.

Thought McCann was a legal analyst for Sports Illustrated?
