how in the world did brady ever let a slime bag like mike silver in his inner circle (well, that is what silver claims) .. that dude is a maroon ... plus, he blocked me on twitter

who knows...silver is supposedly close to brady's family.
they should never speak to that hack again, just embarrassing coverage on nfl network all around.

I suppose you have to give credit where credit is due. Any other commissioner confronted with the "deflategate" controversy would have just said "this is stupid" and dismissed it out of hand.
Goodell has somehow managed to turn this crap into a sports story that has overshadowed the NBA playoffs, NBA draft, and the entire MLB season.

Well played!

PLEASE TAKE BORGES OFF THE NEWS FEED FOR THE LOVE OF GOD

Even after today he is still saying that Brady wont take this to court because he doesn't want to give up his phone...

Three words Mr. Borges:

Internal
Appeals
Panel

Kraft is going to be furious when he gets back from Israel and find out Brady has been defending himself. The Shield spent five million for that report and Brady is jeopardizing that and Ted Wells reputation. Selfish Bastard.

hilarious...:D

borges is a senile old fool.
Decomposing before your very eyes.

Really, these employers would either have a lawyer on staff, or counsel they use regularly. How hard would it be for one of these reporters to just call one and find out that it's very unlikely that Brady's phone would be admitted as evidence, even if Brady wanted to. It likely wouldn't be seen as relevant to the issues before the court. Or they could just read this forum once in awhile.

And it gets worse, I'm now hearing Brady v was genuine and was giving explanations. WHO THE F.CK does he think he is. He is ruining a perfectly good narrative with this idiotic truth crap. I had so much more respect for him when he was eating sh.t quietly.

The easy way out is there if Herr Goodell wants to take it. Simply have Ashton Kuchar issue an NFL press release tomorrow stating.

April Fools. Jokes on you guys, we were just kidding.

Ha ha Tom, you should have seen the look on your face when everyone called you a cheater, it was priceless.

Lmao

Obviously I won't give Borges a click but based off his headline, he might want to add "I wish" to it because that article is probably just Borges fantasizing about what he wants to happen.

Also why is it that our local contrarians are so frightened by the idea of Brady taking it to court? Just look at the dopes like Felger and others saying he should take his punishment and not try for court. They pretend like it's in Brady's interest but they are so transparent that it is rather amusing. They don't want Brady to go to court because they know damn well that the NFL's case will fold like a house of cards and their fun will be ruined and they will all be exposed for the vulturous turds they are.

You guys will have to forgive Borges. In the absence of easily plagiarizable material, he becomes confused and just starts rambling.

ON TOM BRADY’S APPEAL. If Brady’s suspension is reduced to one game, does he still go to court, or just call Roger Goodell a jerk and then win the Super Bowl again?

—Mr. Q

I could see this scenario going one of two ways. Brady fights the one-game suspension with a lawsuit that would call into question Roger Goodell’s role as arbitrator, among other things. Such a suit could delay the onset of the suspension, potentially into winter months or even next offseason. Or, Brady could accept the one-game ban, let Jimmy Garropollo get his feet wet, then come back and destroy the rest of the NFL riding that underdog mantra that every NFL player/team loves to employ. Maybe, upon reflection, Brady will feel his public legacy is intact as a result of that AEI study blowing up the NFL’s Wells Report. I think he takes the latter route, and probably wins another ring, like you said.

Tom Brady hates having to go out of the game and give the backup QB the final kneel down in a blowout. You think he's gonna be just fine with allowing Jimmy, a guy who is gunning to take his job, to play in the season opening game against one of our arch rivals? On banner night of all nights? Please. Brady will be 38. He knows at this point in his career every single week is a tryout to keep his job. I wouldn't be surprised if he's in a total "fuc.k Jimmy, he's not getting one single snap if I have anything to say about it" mode.

I don't think he ever was. I just think silver painted it that way and no-one called him on it. The whole "growing disconnect" report kind of proves that.

I doubt that's true. I don't think Silver even knows what Tom's dad's name is.

Hey! Fitzy was in da house! (Or lurking nearby):

Sure. this isn't The Soprano's where they send a guy with a crowbar to keep the union guys in line.
Or Bobby Baccalieri to a bar and threaten a unioned juror.

TB used to give interviews to him but then it all stopped. Not sure if it was just a hole Silver or TB12 being more cautious about doling out his time.
