OT: Broncos attempted to trade Manning to Houston?

Sorry, I should have said "attempted" in the title as in denver reportedly tried to do it a few months ago. Can't see Houston wanting noodle arm though.

If I was the Broncos I would have traded Manning if they could get any value. They gotta be scared that After week 9, they have only one guaranteed warm weather game and they gotta be scared that Manning's breakdown last year was age and injuries catching up to him.

Let's face it. None of know if Manning has anything left and whether he will break down again after season starts. Looks like teams can force him to throw outside the numbers and he is useless.

I think you should make the title past tense because it looks like they attempted to trade, but aren't currently trading him.

Broncos very quickly denied it, not that that means anything.

Having a no-trade clause added to his reworked contract definitely says that its possible they tried to ship him off.

No one is ever going to admit trying to trade Manning. Whether the Broncos did or not, they only lose now if they admit it and have a T'ed off Manning going into the season.

Broncos finally tired of Manning's footballs being mistaken for Goodyear blimps.

Here is the most ironic thing to come out of this story. Ben Volin actually has the nerve to retweet someone else calling out the originator of this story for reporting an inaccurate (allegedly) story.

Seriously, I would think Volin would avoid getting involved in any story where the originator is accused of reporting a false story.... Unless of course, he is the one who wrote the story.

Manning blows, amazing huh? Went from beating us in the AFCCG being crowned by everyone to utterly fkn meaningless in the span of 1 year and 2 weeks (AFCCG 2014 to SB49 trophy presentation). I used to hate the guy, now when I see a tweet about him I go, huh he's still in the league?

Interesting if true, obviously you never confirm these rumors when they fall apart, especially involving the face of the franchise. Wonder if Osweiler is actually legit.
