No need to go to court anymore. Goodell will have to act in his own best interest now and completely exonerate Brady, otherwise he will be annihilated in court.

Brady wins again.

Without naming his source, it would be useful to know which camp it came from.

Simple. It sounds positive for the Pats, and he did have the scoop on the 4 hr window letter, so it is more probable than not that he is generally aware of this coming from Tf'inB's camp.

It's up to Goodell whether he wants to call Brady a liar, based on Wells' contrivances.

And if I where to bet, I am taking the over Goodell keeps the suspension over 1 game. Which is to say, we are pretty much going to script.

This will go to court.

"I believe the fact that TB was perceived as honest means he conned the entire room. He cannot possibly be genuine because he is a cheater. The text messages proved he is a cheater. I'm sure his "explanations" of the Wells report were compete lies. What about the text messages? He said deflate. How could he been genuine with that? How could they buy this garbage spewed from the mouth of a cheater?

If Rodger reduces or vacates the punishment I will be highly upset and it will prove the Pats are in the NFLs pockets. So disturbing. "

Did Allen just transcribe what Adam said on air (sportscenter)? I don't see this full quote on Schefter's twitter.

Schefty would not mis-spell Goodell's first name... must be transcribed

I don't trust any leaks. And as much as I hope it goes to court, I can't trust that will happen either. I've become pretty jaded when it comes to media - especially in this particular case.

Reports are really pro-Brady, it seems. Gonna make things harder for Jet-dell.

I would love for him to lift the suspension entirely, and then have Brady sue for defamation anyway.

Greg Aiello...NFL senior vice president of public relations for the National Football League and key partner of Goodell...yup...Syosset, NEW YORK born bred and Jet fan...in the room today...jeezus, can't make this stuff up. Another Long Island bred Pats hater in NFL offices.
And the they run the NFL just like they ran the jest....it sucks.

Just crazy....

If Brady's suspension is lifted either through this or court, I can't even see how the ultimate fine (draft pick+) can stand. I know they are different entities but if Brady is found not guilty here, there's no grounds for two scrubs to take a little pressure out of a ball. Not that there was a ground for it to begin with....

I can see Goodell debating it now:

"You know, Tom was really compelling and I truly believe that he is 100% innocent after hearing from him, but the rest of the owners think I went too lightly on him and the Patriots. Let me check the CBA and see if I can increase his suspension to eight games."

I don't care how compelling Brady was. This whole entire thing is a sham. Goodell will find a way to come to a decision where it makes it difficult for Brady to win in court and that is his primary goal.

If Schefter says Brady spoke, I believe it. I learned long ago that Schefter is the most reliable and have never seen anything to disprove that.
The only bad info I've seen from Schefter was this past Dec when he was adamant that Jim Harbaugh would not leave the nfl for the Michigan job. Incidentally, Schefter is a Michigan alum.

Reports are pro Brady because Brady's side is the only one leaking things. NFL realized a defamation suit is coming so the leaks better stop because its just adding to Brady's case.

I take these reports to mean nothing. Goodell will knock it down to 2 games and we're on to Court.

Brady didn't speak to the media after the hearing. If anyone thinks Brady didn't speak at his appeal that went nearly 12 hours then they are complete idiots.
We already knew they were complete idiots, this just adds more to they're legacy of idiocracy
