Ian, Pls Get Zolak Off the Twitter Feed (And Replace Him With Chatham)

What's wrong with Zolak? He's one of the few Boston folks who I can stand.

Annoying graffiti. There is no info there whatsoever.

If I want to waste my time listening to a "Morning Zoo" type program, I'll turn on a radio.

The twitter feed is for breaking news and developments - - he does neither.

You can have your Ben Volin, i will take my Zolak. Its On!

I'd start with getting rid of the Hernandez updates lol. Don't care he had a P&J for lunch.

Zolak is fine because he at least likes the team even if hes nuts.

So it doesn't matter whether he is a clown with no information?

C'mon, that twitter feed is for breaking news and info. I have NEVER learned anything from a Zolak bleating. He's entertainment, not information.

Chatham should be there. There's a place for Zolak, it ain't in the twitter feed.

Chatham is a patsfans.com type of source.

Zolak is a patriotsplanet.com type of source.

I love the planet, but there is a reason the two websites are different.

When did Chatham start breaking news?

I've never learned anything from 90% of the people on the Twitter feed. IMO, the presence of guys who openly troll the fans and dislike the team is a bigger issue than someone like Zolak.

Sounds like there is need for disparate feeds.

News Feeds: Shefter
Fanboy Feeds: Zo, Chatham
Idiot Feeds: Volin, Tanguay

Really liked Gresh and Zo during football season. Since Bertrand replaced Gresh, I think Zo has slowly, but sure!y, changed. He seems a little intimidated by Bertrand's occasional trips into the contrarian mode. Disappointing, at least to me.

Whenever I listen to them talking deflate gate, Bertrand seems to always have a negative spin for why something isn't good for Tom Brady and Zolak has failed to give rebuttals on a number of occasions.

I'm not saying Bertrand needs to be a homer by any means but I just feel like he says "meh" to the significance of the science aspect. I vividly recall listening to F&M leading up to the Super Bowl when a report came in that a some of the Pats balls registered just a few ticks under the legal PSI minimum. Bertrand stated that if that report was true then "the NFL did the Patriots wrong". Now it doesn't seem to matter as much when that comes out to be accurate. It's like he's scared Felger and Mazz will mock him for not delivering a significant dose of contrarianism onto the afternoon show.

The Sports Hub Formula....

Contrarian + A-hole+Negativity= 12.2 share and #1 in your time slot.

Zolak is a good doobie. Chatham is too. Either or.

Zolak is a good egg ... be better if he could speak through a voice altering device.

Go in as Scott Zolak ... come out as Morgan Freeman.
