The Ohio State "Leaker" struck out badly on a swing and a miss yesterday leading up to the appeal:

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap30...ppeal-whats-at-stake-for-all-parties-involved

"....The problem is that the league doesn't have subpoena power and isn't putting guys under oath, which is why (in the league's eyes) lack of cooperation must be dealt with harshly. In that regard, Brady's timing couldn't be worse."

This should mean that everyone is under oath, I can't see Kessler allowing Brady to testify under oath but not ensuring everyone does. I have always believed that Brady never told anyone to doctor the balls after inspection so his testifying under oath is fine with me, he would have had to do so in court anyways so I don't see the problem with it. If anything this puts more pressure on Goodell in his decision because if they don't have proof he is lying they are going to have to accept that he is telling the truth. I hope like hell that Kensil is questioned under oath.
I doubt Kensil is even in attendance.

One reporter and he wanted it but haven't heard back from him after sent. I would love Curran. Also barstool guys. If anyone has any contact, let me know

Florio reads his emails: [email protected]

Not local, but he is open to the anti-Wells, anti-NFL angles

Am I alone in hoping the league offers Brady no reduction? I want this to play out in court. The ONLY way that Brady gets any vindication is if this goes through the court system and ALL the evidence is OBJECTIVELY looked at. I won't be happy with a quiet; "Brady wins his appeal and won't be suspended at all." I don't want the appeal lifted on a technicality. I want the s&%t to hit the fan. I want heads to roll.

If Tom Brady sues NFL, watch for TB lawyers to cite confusion over hearing procedures as evidence of unfair process.

Hey Mike!

All one needs to point to regarding the NFL's KNOWINGLY misinforming the subjects of the investigation is the January 18, 2015 Gardi letter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

http://wellsreportcontext.com/nfl-letter-to-patriots/

The writer of the letter had all the correct data available to him - - and he STILL sent the targets of the investigation misinformation.

GAME. SET. MATCH.

The more logs, the bigger the fire can get.

Go look at the Saints outcome, the courts reversed the player penalties and the league kept the franchise penalties intact.

That's because the league found enough evidence of wrong doing by the coaches..

I think many of us are with you in that regard. A public evisceration of the wells report, Goodell, Kensil, Pash, wells, et al would be absolutely delightful. I don't simply want Brady exonerated, I want the tables turned, and I want this pr hit exposed for what it is.

This is what I was about to say. If you're wondering, this address can be found on the "send scoop" link on the right side of his site.

Before he got bought by NBC, I used to send him an email or two a year. I know he responded to at least one of them, if not more.

I do too, but my gut says 1 game suspension, Brady takes it..Goodell does not want this to go to court, sanything more than 1 game and it probably does.

Bingo! We have Bingo! For the few similarities between #framegate and bountygate, one major difference is actual evidence of wrong doing. Those citing the team penalties standing for NO are overlooking this simple, yet important difference. Does that mean I expect the picks back? No, but citing bountygate as precedent is a joke.

There is one thing that the NFL has to keep owners in line: if three-fourths of the owners agree, the league can force an owner to sell his/her team.

It wouldn't surprise me if Kraft found out that a Patriots lawsuit against the NFL—given the former's dominance in recent years—might not be welcome by the other owners.

Pretty sure that the owners have to show cause similar to the way they NBA owners had to show cause for forcing the Clippers owner to sell..

why in the world would Tom Brady accept sitting out a game, losing a half million dollars and having people think he admitted guilt when he did absolutely nothing?

I agree.....but if it is just a fine, Brady would wind up spending more in legal fees to overturn

If Brady's punishment is downgraded to a fine, I would guess that he takes it for exactly the reason you just outlined. But even that he might not take, really depends on his mentality going forward. I think he's made it pretty clear that he won't accept any kind of suspension, though.
