Official Brady Appeal Thread: D-Day Tuesday June 23rd

Oh, I am so glad Brady fans are there with signs.

well seeing the pictures of Brady, he sure seems confident.

Goodell will not reduce the suspension to anything less then 2 games - Personally I doubt he will reduce it at all.

People forget why this whole nonsense was perpetrated in the first place - it is to hit the Patriots with multiple punishments to enforce parity upon them - the loss of a 1st round + 4th round pick and the suspension of Brady for 4 games hurt the Patriots in both the short and long term.

It was never about the deflation of a football - therefore there will be nothing discovered during this kangaroo court that will change the leagues stance on the punishments.

This is absolutely going to a proper court and it is going to be a long and expensive ordeal.

I suspect this is going to be more like a settlement conference than an appeal.

Kessler, "Hi Roger. We're going to kick your ass in court. But before we do, we're graciously giving you this final opportunity to come to your senses and back down. Any popularity hit you take now will pale in comparison to the consequences of court proceedings."

For readability puposes, here is the official thread for today. The previous one was getting too long.

Have at it!

“… I think generally speaking, this is how it’s been described to me: You want to know Tom Brady‘s mindset going into this, think the Tom Brady who is chewing out teammates on the sideline. In the middle of the game who is yelling at people, cursing, screaming, that Tom Brady,” Schefter said. “That is the Tom Brady we’re going to get here in today’s hearing and moving forward, whatever course that is. I think that Tom Brady is absolutely willing and determined to fight this, to see this through.

I can see this going a lot like the final courtroom scene in A Few Good Men. Wells seems to get easily defensive and overheated. If Kessler gets under his skin enough, he may say something that undermines his case. I can't picture him just sitting back and taking it all in while Kessler rips his "report" apart.

Brady is in the house. He snuck in through the back entrance #BradyAppeal

BTW, this doesn't look like 'snuck in through the back entrance', you mentally challenged intern:

I live five blocks from there. Unless you have access to an underground garage, there's no "sneaking" into buildings in Midtown, but, as one of the pics clearly shows, that's Lexington Avenue, technically, the "back entrance" to 345 Park. The guy's an idiot otherwise, but, technically, he's right on that narrow point. The smart paps and news outlets would have had both entrances staked out. That leaves out Shaughnessy.

Wells is one of this country's leading defense attorneys who had handled many high profile cases. What we saw in May was him out of his element with the press, which made him look laughable and amateurish. Unfortunately today is Wells' element where he thrives. He'll be fine today.

The perp walk! (Shank). He's sneaking in the back door! (Volin)

Fcking morons. Love it that Tom always has a cool, calm, and collected look on his face...off the field at least. :D
