Agreed but Brady wouldn't say that anywhere near a camera or Smartphone. Thats the difference here.

It is the bigger picture that Newton doesn't grasp - that other top QB's grasp the enormity this issue has become. Also high-profile QBs are in a "club" and more or less have each other's backs. Even though it was a casual setting, it was poor awareness on Newton's part to say what he said.

Cam is still young. He might get it someday.

I always see this idiot flopping and jumping around like a 5 year old on Sundays and just wish someone would punch him in the mouth. I'm still waiting but my impatience just grew stronger.

Maybe. I remember there was a story about Dominique Wilkins getting a statue put up outside where the Hawks play and Larry Bird says, "I'm sure they didn't put him in a defensive stance.". Now, while incredibly funny, that tells me that Bird isn't 100% on the respect meter for Wilkins.

Oh, you mean like Aikman and Montana had Brady's back? I guess they fall in the "less" part of the "more or less."

I agree with those who say this is no big deal...not even locker room bulletin board stuff...but all these guys should know that anything they say in front of a camera or smart phone is going to end up on the internet.

People saying "it's just a joke" ya it is, except don't make jokes when your team's ball boys got caught tampering with balls during a game.

Eh, seems like a mountain's being made out of a molehill. Just a joke that's being blown out of proportion. Newton's only had good things to say about Brady in the past, and he's known for joking around a lot.

If not, scoreboard. Anyone who just failed to get his team to .500 probably shouldn't talk **** about the defending SB champ.
