Can't get over it. The hoodie is EVERYWHERE. Can you imagine what it's like to know stuff like this is happening league wide because of you. I don't even think Lombardi, Brown, Parcells, Walsh or anyone else EVER caused such psychological harm.

I love it.

Although, maybe Herr Goodell can start an investigation. Psyche-gate.

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...ugh-ravens-are-working-on-illegal-formations/

P.s- John they already changed the rules. But BB is so deep in your psyche you don't realize it.

I owe my son an apology.

He told me about this yesterday and I told him to stop making stuff up.

This is ludicrous. Why would they be wasting valuable time on that stuff? Harbaugh has already lost it before the season has started. :p

Lol, I saw this too... Harbaugh says "We will not assume the refs will understand or get things right every time." Kinda like ball PSI eh John? Hmmm...

The funny thing is, he's saying this to imply that the referees didn't recognize the "illegal" formations the Patriots used... even though they were perfectly legal and have been stated as such since the day they were used. But for some reason, Harbaugh appears insistent that they were illegal anyway.

Seriously, this league is filling up with crybabies so quickly. The best part is that most of them are crying because of what BB and TB did to 'em. :D

Criminals are a superstitious and cowardly lot

It's easy to strike fear in their hearts

But I can guarantee -- if harbaugh has the misfortune to cross belichick's path this year he won't be ready for what's coming

harbaugh is a pathetic joke. how his players can have any respect for him is beyond me. wha wha wha they decieved us he cries on national TV and makes excuses because his team wasnt prepared. and if thats not bad enough he gets the rule changed. that is so embarrassing.

Because his players think the same way he does. It can't be that they were outcoached or outplayed, someone must have cheated them.

Like France after WWI, Harbaugh is intent on preparing to fight the last war instead of realizing that tactics will change. In defense of the French military, though, no one passed a rule right after the war stating that static trench warfare would be illegal.

If Harbaugh's going to operate on that he can't assume "the refs will understand or get things right every time," why not do things like have pass rushers line up offsides in practice so his O-line can prepare for that. Or allow encourage his offensive line to blatantly hold so his defensive players can try to work against that. Sure it seems like a waste of time, but the refs might miss it in a game.

Lol. Read the comments after the article. Its amazing that so many still insist that the formation was illegal and we cheated. I guess public opinion will never change....just have to keep telling them to suck on the Pats rings.

Come on, all the refs did was tell them "don't cover number x" .
BB is so far inside Harbaugh's head, it is not even funny.

Seriously, how funny is that...has there ever been another instance of a ref trying to help another team, and that team being so dim-witted nobody minded?

"Hey idiots...DON'T COVER THAT GUY." It's hilarious.

Yet Mensa Member of the Year T. Suggs was apparently screaming out "that's illegal!" during drills. So they have that going for them..

Guiding them to 6 playoff appearances, 3 AFCCG appearances and a SB win in 7 years, with Joe Flacco as his QB rather than a Manning/Brady level guy, might be a pretty damned good reason why.

I think the new rules are going to create even more mayhem that Belichick can exploit. So what that the ineligible receiver has to be in the backfield--they can still lateral it. So you can run it with the ineligible guy or still throw it to the eligible lineman coming off the line.

Good luck not covering the ineligible Travaris Cadet.

I can't wait until the Lombardi Trophy is renamed to the Belichick Trophy. Belichick is so far ahead of everyone else. The only way stupid people can win is to outlaw intelligence which is exactly what they are doing.

Hey Harbaugh, see a formation that is confusing you and your team? That's what a TIMEOUT is for.

I think it's hilarious that the league had to create a new rule because teams and refs were too stupid to think on their feet. And now the Ravens are wasting time on this. Talk about being in their heads. Ha

I haven't read the whole thread, so this might have been mentioned. But it is so hypocritical that everyone complains and calls "foul" when BB outsmarts them, and then adopt the same things. What a ****ified game the MFL is anymore. Whats next, lowering football pressure?

The colts - especially their coaching staff - should be embarrassed because they missed conceptually the same play on the Solder touchdown a week later.

Its kind of like the wildcat - tricky the first time it was ever unveiled (against the Patriots in fact) but as far as I know not run by any team in a playoff victory ever.

The point is - the rules can be changed but it will never work again - rule or no rule. That is why Harbaugh complaining is so hilarious. Because not even a decent D1 linebacker will ever make that mistake again let along a pro. About 1% chance Belichick or McDaniels ever call the play again because the know this. Chess v checkers.

Arent the Ravens masters of the under thrown go-route to get an automatic PI call?

Their own cheating/pushing the rules makes them paranoid that others are getting away with something just like they are..
