That this team is so young, and already has a championship under their belt .. They know the type of work that needs to be paid.. They know the sacrifices .. How often do we hear about teams "They just can't get over the hump" .. ? Think of the Bengals, Cowboys, .. teams that are knocking on the door, yet can't open the door .. I'm jacked n pumped ... lol .. Carry On ..

It is a huge positive. Unfortunately, we have been railroaded from aquiring more, young, border line blue chip talent at pick 32 next year.

It is similar to Seattle two years ago, young talent galore, with an incredibly bright future. I'd love to watch a rematch this February.

I am glad for the young talent they have. And I agree that many of the ingredients you need to win are on this team.

But this season is going to be monumentally tough : (1) uncertain defensive backfield (2) key front seven players with offseason procedures (3) the distraction of the psi situation (4) the current Brady suspension and (5) the strong contenders out there. Would love to see a repeat (again), but despite youth and clutch coaching/QB play, it's gonna be tough.

How long until some team that gets its ass beat by us decides to accuse us of something and our season is again derailed? Because its gonna happen. The Patriots are not going to be allowed to be good.

Its unfortunate that if you are indeed good at something and win quite a lot then you must be cheating.

It is the way of sports.

Damn it! I was going to go with "toy trains".

Ummm....how is #3 any more difficult than it was in the 2 weeks leading up to the Super Bowl that they won?

Sucks they lost the picks but I'm hoping for a real good free agent signing to kind of make up for the loss from that idiot Goodell.

Dropping dead money from Revis, Mankins and Arrington should give them a extra 12 million. Trying to look on the bright side.

Sorry - I should have been more precise - obviously you are right If we are only talking about the distraction. I was trying to not go into ALL of the details. Here, I specifically mean : If Brady misses any games the chances are greater that NE drops a game or two that Brady might win for the team. Also : reps are being shared. Add to that that a possible court case in the summer or fall would further take some of Brady's time.

Nothing has stopped them from being good for the past 14 years so I can't think of anything outside the team that will stop them in the future. People can hate on them all they want, it just adds fuel to their for, especially Brady's.
