The secondary has serious questions to be answered but I'm not going to assume they will suck because of the lack of big names. That could end up being the case but I'll wait to see how it plays out on the field. If Hightower and Mayo are healthy then this will be an excellent front seven that should be effective against the run and have a very good pass rush. They are going to have to get career years out of their young guys as well as Fletcher and McClain but if their defense come together as a unit they could well be good enough to win another Lombardi.

I said the other day that this is either one of the worst or one of the most unknown secondaries in the league. Either way, you can't make the statement that they're going to be good with any sort of conviction right now. And I'm not basing that on the lack of names.

I wasn't suggesting you were, I was referring to the overall take from many that they will suck because they are not big name players, I'm simply saying that I trust that Belichick knows what he is trying to do and I will wait to see how they play this season before judging them. The fact that they aren't big names doesn't mean they can't come together and play well as a unit. I don't think they will be a to secondary but if they come together they can still get it done.

Wow. Revis's mom got Polar Expressed. "These tickets are not transferable..."

If accurate Revis is a 1st class jerk.

Askew flew to Boston on Saturday, but she never made it to Kraft's home, as she was informed on Saturday the invitation was non-transferable. There was social-media buzz Sunday night about how she was turned away at the door, but that didn't happen.

The Patriots wanted to make it a players-only event, as they did for the recent trip to the White House and previous ring ceremonies at Kraft's house. It's unclear if Askew knew the policy before booking her flight to Boston. It's also not known if she was offended. The Patriots apparently didn't get wind of her plans until Saturday.

There's a picture on the NEP FB page of Gronk and what reponders are saying is Revis showing their rings. I'm confused now but will admit I didn't read the comments. Did Gronk grab his ring and meet him in some club or is this someone else?

i think baldwin would have beaten revis regardless of the ref being in the way. revis looked to be a good 5-7 yards behind baldwin. without the ref revis would still have been 3 yards behind.

The pass was thrown behind Baldwin by at least 3 yards. He had to slow down and wait for the ball.

Looks like Chandler Jones to me...

I am sure that Mevis can get a Jets ring. All he has to do is find Namath, sober him up and buy it from him.

The funny part about it is the fact that he will always have to look at his championship ring with the Pats logo on it!

When Revis was a Patriot, he played and acted like a Patriot. Now that Revis is a Jet, he acts like a typical Jet player and fan.
